Germany....
The home country of her father. It looks like she'll be paying it a visit. Hopefully nothing too strange are happening in this Singularity.Looks like I'll have to collect the samples myself.
The dhampire thought to herself. Even if the cause of death are easy to find, she'll still need factor in what exactly killed them. A poison in the monster weapon, a infectious disease that's transmitted by such monster, and even more.
"That variety range of monster are indeed quite unnatural. We might as well be dealing with some sort of servant that could summons such monsters." (edited)Suddenly, an image appears in the center of the room.
It's of a muddy pond. The image is hazy and foggy, but not because of a lack of clarity. If anything, it's impressive for a mage to be able to give such a clear insight into a location based on nothing but that map.
On a closer look, Klara and any Master with a passive Perception of 20 or higher notices that there are tracks in the mud around the lake. They seem to be animalistic, with three large claws marked in the ground.
Well, if you're looking for a dragon, this might be it, Klara. Or it could just be a big lizard.
Sigurd, I'll need your help regarding dragons.
Tapping into the connection, Klara would inform Sigurd of her finding and asked him to join her in the conference room and determine if the tracks were indeed made by a dragon or not. (edited)The next sensor lands right in the middle of the lake. It's clear and blue. From making a rough estimate, it could be anywhere from 60 to 120km² in size.
When you look closer, you see small bubbles forming in the center. They're increasing in amount, and suddenly, a large serpentine creature springs forth, green liquid spilling from its maw.
`A still image of the giant serpent is brought back.
The last place is the peak of a mountain overviewing the surrounding forests. There's creatures that any modern mage would recognize as harpies flying around the peak.
Harpies...well I guess this isn't so bad as the last one. But it's still too early to assume it's just harpies...
Klara thought to herself, looking closer into the image once more.'You called for me, my Summoner?'
( @NoLongerdEd )You are familiar with a leyline directly near your home near the Rhine river. Since the Einzbern are both secluded and single-mindedly focused on the Holy Grail, Germany's layout was never something particularly relevant to you.
Indeed, looks like we are dealing with your home Mythology, Allfather.
Feeling the presence of Odin herself, Klara replied as she gesture her to look over to the image.Something wrong Surtr?
'Hohoho~ Jorgumngandr, quite a beast you've a;; managed to discover, my Summoner'
(edited)Hahaha! There's nothing wrong master, though things might have gotten even more interesting.
Surtr gave a vague answer while reading through the logs along with her master. So it is Jörmungandr huh....
Hearing what Odin had said, she took a deep breath as she begin speaking once more.
"It's confirmed by Odin hi-herself, the serpent we saw earlier are indeed the World Serpent itself."Seems that things are coming from your time. Perhaps you will even meet an alternate form of yourself. I hope you are ready to prove who the stronger one is.
Erik said, in a slightly teasing tone as he chuckles a bit once he finishes reading the logs
"So we are facing with a bunch of Mythological Monsters, some to a divine level. I think my Partner might have a potential advantage against many of the beings here. She is a destroyer after all"You didn't need to say it twice.
A proud scoff would be heard by Erik.
I can't send her in alone. Look at her. She won't be able to last a few minutes in a normal singularity.
Olga thinks to herself.
With a shake of her head, Olga moves over to another desk to pull out some files she has received from her staff team that controlled the command room regarding the 'hiccup'. (edited)Nothing significant pops up other than a baseball game and its box score. It was a match between the Chicago Cubs and the New York Giants.
Olga stands in the center of the conference room with the staff managing the Masters currently on missions.
At this point, Tyonis will see Gil's group soar through the sky, a sign they're still being chased all the way through the Northern territory.
At this point, Dr. Roman brings in the newly awakened Master.
A new screen for Amina Aydin appears. She's currently seated in a wheelchair but looks surprisingly well rested.
When you take out the Magic Crest, its rotted beyond any opportunity for use in the time since its been taken out of the Necromancer's workshop.
"..."
"Oh.. um, hello everyone."
The young girl timidly introduces herself.
"Um, I'm not sure. I don't know how to answer that.."
"..Yes, I do," Amina answers Wiltrud. "My head still hurts, but my memories are clear again. Um,.."
She's cut off by Varus threatening her with mind control.
"Yes! As I was saying, I remember my Servants last moment. Marie was supposed to help me escape, but she had to sacrifice her Noble Phantasm to save my life. If it hadn't been for that...."
With a Rider's Noble Phantasm, escape would've been possible for at least one of them.
"If you need to, you can look into my mind. I have nothing to hide," she says.
"After that, the others decided on a change of plan. That's when they got the idea of making an Bounded Field with the conceptual imbuement of law. Since order is a giants natural weakness, they thought it might work."
"I think the chance of the barrier being strong enough was.. 3 percent?"
(edited)"..I remember feeling bad that I had to be the one chosen. I know that the only reason is because I would have been no help delaying our enemies."
"That's why.."
She begins to tear up but wipes her eye.
"Once the plan was made, I was put to sleep so I'd survive until someone finds me."
"Yes."
"We tried to make it as far in as we could to locate the source of the Bounded Field, but the ice made it impossibly difficult."
"Eventually, we came across a group of humans. Their skin was pale blue and they were being led somewhere by a group of humanoid monsters. Master candidate Liebermann ascertained them to be Hrimthurse, the Frost Giants of Norse mythology."
"Everyone agreed that they should be able to fend them off. We didn't want to go back empty handed after all. Saving a group of humans wasn't our mission, but it was at least something we might have been able to do."
"...It didn't work out that way. Those giants were much stronger than they should have been. Our Servants weren't able to match them. And... they were trying to protect me from the start. If it weren't for me, they wouldn't have suffered so many needless injuries."
"It wasn't anything in particular. They were just strong."
"No, there was one thing that gave especially gave us trouble. They couldn't just freeze through controlling ice, they could freeze your mind, too. I'd say that was the most dangerous part of them."
"Yes, it would be that," she says. "I don't know if this was helpful, but that's all I know."
"I haven't read any reports yet. I'm sorry, I just woke up."
Amina answers Varus. "I think they were heading west. It was hard to tell in the snowstorm."
The two screens shut off.
I need someone to watch over my temple while I am away
Good! Then I shall be there soon after~
The king ignores the prideful mongrel daring to try to dishonor or bait him into a trap. Sadly, he has grown to old for such pride to matter, and sadly the man is just another one of those mongrels ignored, quite useless in his eyes. You can hear in the background, him talking to to ciel as he starts walking away waiting for vee to come
Ciel... what is up with men now a days? or all of them stupid? we are in a hurry and yet they still cling on their pride and ego tsk
The screen goes out.
All Chaldeans will be connected. Within mission, or outside through the technology of Chaldea, as long as they are within a safe area in the Forest.
After Vlad Tepes' defeat and the reclamation of 11 major Leylines throughout all of Continental Europe, it is now time for Chaldea's final push toward the Heart of Enniashe. Thanks to Vlad's final words, they now know that Cu Chulainn, summoned as a Dead Apostle Berserker-Class Servant is the Forest's final guardian. Moreover, the Heart can teleport anywhere within the Forest when it is threatened, meaning the Masters and Servants of Chaldea must prevent this from happening somehow.
There was also a single coin on the conference table.
You can always put your gold where I stand, Bodyguard.
Suddenly a voice emanated from the coin, utterly emotionless and almost robotic, but certainly the Golden Patriarch.
Do not mind me. If we are to be worthy allies, we must coordinate. I do have to say on the matter of Crul that even granted my spies I have but naught on him.
As majority shareholder I offer a solution. Take refuge under my Clock Tower with your Masters and Servants. The proximity of the reverse side of the world shall no doubt shield you from the gazing eyes of those who dare to spy upon my domain.
"I suggest that you bring him forth, Master Einzbern.
the voice said.A fortified basket that will serve as a springboard to take the rest of the isles alongside being protected by my army and citizens.
@[Serpon]Teno/Penth/Nico/AzuThe soul would respond and state the following. "Each God Lord has thousands of followers and soldiers, their exact numbers are unknown to me. Each of them are housed on top of leyline aside from the Lord Sourd. I was only recently built and thus do not know the exact location."
That which you call domain is home to the Clock Lord of curses by the name of Marriba. As is their moniker they are a master of applying all manners of curses upon their targets... particularly painful ones or if she is feeling kinda ones that apply instant death. I suggest avoiding her being even aware of her.
Her domain that you speak of is extremely dangerous as well, with only one known way in and out. I've sent some of my best spies and agents into that place. None returned. If you intend to enter this realm to defeat her, I suggest you prepare.
Her domain is as if Dante's Inferno has taken life. It takes the appearance of innocence as a thin way to mask its horror. I cannot say where it's exact location is for I am being watched. But when you enter Swindon I shall pray to the eternal God of the Church for you, and so should you.
The area around the city of London is under my absolute control of my army and my territory. I have influence over the rest of the mainland with my agents and spies but it is soft-power at most with me being able to manipulate the loose bands of cultists who worship all the Clock-Lords but it is possible for me to arrange for special groups of my best soldiers to be deployed almost anywhere on the mainland to assist you.
Correct. Though most address me with my true title of Grand:Crown.
Not the most deft on the tongue. But a title I have actually earned unlike this title that the Demon Pillar has forced upon me.
Should you need my aid. Request at anytime. In the meantime I will soon have a request for Chaldea in order to complete a weapon of mine.
Ask.
"The homunculi are being created in the workshop of the Lord of Creation. Her workshop can be found in the mainland of Britain."
"Cultist are loyal to each lord. Though they tend to have a preferred lord that they are loyal too, unless they are Cultist of the Undivided Church, those worship all Lords equally."
"The location of the Demon Pillar mayhaps?"
"All Lord's defenses are unassailable, they are God's after all."
"The Voice of God."
