In one of the corner of the snowy fields, a set of igloo could be seen standing. One of them is half-build and a man with heavy winter clothing and a shovel is putting another block of snow on the igloo.

Took him a few hours but the second set of igloo is done. The man watch his work as suddenly a woman from the other igloo came out from its door.

"Oh! That was quick! Didn't expect you done your second igloo that fast." Oei head's peek through the door of igloo, a piece of rice crackers can be seen on her hand.

"I would be a lot more quicker if someone decided to help!" Arran retorted to the female artist that snickers when she hear what he said.

"Ma~ That's too much work when I got paintin' to be done!" The rice cracker now gone into the depth of the abyss that is called Oei's stomach as she swallow and chew it in.

"Why are you here again?" He was here looking for a place to be alone, but lo and behold the pair of father and daughter found him and decided to use his newly-build igloo as resting place while he decided to make another one.

"Paintin' people become boring after a while, and so me and pops decided to run around the snow field! Both of us are tired though so when we find some place to rest we found your igloo!"

"If you bored of people..." Arran said as he prepare a small bonfire for himself. A kettle supported by some sticks is placed on top of it as he start to cook the water. "Just find some place to hide, like in those woods."

Both Hokusai and Oei shake their head while clicking their tongue. "Places like those is the one that most likely filled with people! They probably getting frisky right there!" As she said that, Oei paused for a bit before smiling at Arran. "Say, wanna sees some people getting frisky? I could make some decent painting out of them too!" All she got out of that was a snow ball to her face. "Bweh! just say no if you don't want to!" She said while blowing raspberry to Arran and goes back to the igloo. "And gimme some tea too!"

Arran himself shake his head as he grab his backpack, pulling out three wooden mug as he wait for the water to be done.

Walking around the place, Yang spots the two igloos and hears a familiar voice. She approaches. "Frisky? What's that? I wanna see that," she says, a happy smile on her face.

"Another one?" Arran turned his head as he heard someone speaking that is not Hokusai. He sees a young woman with chinese descent as she got closer. "You're... Foreigner?"

"I am. Have you looked at my files?" Yang looks aside, embarrassed a stranger knows about her. "I thought only Master is allowed to do that.."

"Well yes, that's because I am a Master." Arran raised his eyebrows at the embarrased act of the Servant. "So, what are you doing here?"

"I felt like walking around and I spaced out a bit, and then I ended up here. Am I not supposed to be here?" Yang is already about to cry like she messed up. "Uahh.. I think my Master wanted to come here too, but I went early. Did I mess up?"

"Uh...." Arran is not sure what to do with the emotional Servant. "...How about you just wait for your Master here then? Another foreigner is inside that igloo too, so maybe that's your friend?"

"Okay! I'll wait with her, then!" Just like that, her mood is back up again. "Thank you, Master gege!" She gets up to the igloo and tilts her upper body to the side to get the tiniest glimpse inside. "Oei? Are you here?"

Arran would release a sigh of relief as he continue to cook the water, successfully distracted the almost crying woman to someone else.

Inside the igloo would have been expected to be small and white from the snow, but the inside of the igloo that Hokusai is using is different. Its an Edo period Japanese room, with some painting supplies around the room and its actually bigger on the inside.

"Oh? Isn't it Yang! How are ya!" Both Oei and Hokusai wave at her from the tatami mat as they eating a rice crackers.

Yang waves back. "Good! Very, very good!" She skips through the room over to Oei and her father. "You're eating rice crackers," she notes with wide eyes. "They look delicious."

"Yep! Got some of them from those festival people, one of the staff, the one with glasses and bob hair gave me some for free in exchange of some of our Shunga." She open a clay container, revealing more rice crackers. "Here have some."

"Me? Oh, you mustn't.. but, I won't say no!" Yang takes one of the crackers and bites into it. "Mhm~ ✰ this flavor is Yuuyuu approved!" She inches a little closer to Oei. "But I'm a bit surprised your spring paintings are so popular. W-Well, you're an amazing artist! It's no wonder they are."

"Pop's is the artist, not me." Oei said as she took another rice crackers and eat it. She doesn't seems to mind of Yang going closer or just plain doesn't care. "Just give me five- no, two years and I'll beat him!"

"I wish I had a talent like that. Auntie Wu always says I'm good for nothing but being a flab of fat," Yang says. "She's so mean. I'm not fat." She doesn't reach for the rice crackers anymore after that. "What was your life like anyway? Following your father's profession must have been hard."

Walking the expanse of clean white snow with no particular destination in mind, yet, Hime simply took in the atmosphere and environment as she went, her new kimono little protection from the temperature yet as a Servant and in a simulation, that posed no issue for her. As she strolled, however, she kept an eye out for any others who might have had the same idea...

She would find a familiar face. The young paladin aspirant she had given guidance and 'encouragement' previously in the last Singularity. Last time she saw him he was still only 5'10", he had since grown two whole feet and was now 7'10" and really well built for his size. He was wearing a simple t-shirt from the Chaldean uniform, clearly not really minding the cold all that much. He seemed to either be doing some sort of training, or enjoying the scenery

Approaching Erik on noticing him, once she had the paladin aspirant's attention, Hime nodded to him with a soft smile, admiring his new height as she got closer and reached out a hand. "You have grown since the last time we met, in multiple meanings, I can see, Erik. Still training even now, in this vacation spot? But then I suppose maintaining a habit is valuable."

As she approached him, she could physically feel heat coming from around him. He seemed to have been standing and training his aura or perhaps doing some sort of inner body training within this snowy area, the cold making it easier to better notice the difference in temperature. It calmed as he noticed her and relaxed himself, the temperature dropping. He really had gained more strength of spirit it seems. "Ah? Hime, how are you doing?" he would say as he sees the friendly kitsune, he would then remember the last time they had one on one time and would blush a bit, a bit embarrassed at how he was back then

"Ah- if you are wondering about my size as well, I found out that the blood of giants that is in my veins may be directly connected to Surtr, so summoning and contracting with Surtr has awakened it and I've been going through a lot of growth because of it. I've been training to better refine it. Surtr teased me plenty over us being related... but it's nice having some family around again. I hear Odin is also around, I'm not sure I can face them currently though." He sighed, he had gotten rather close with Surtr who would be Odin's mortal enemy. He couldn't face his ancestor since he had taken more the side of his other ancestor. Retaining his righteous path had been a bit difficult with all these other divine influences on him

"I am well, and it seems you are yourself." Looking him over, Hime nodded approvingly, the man talking with her was a far cry from the easily flustered boy, openly aspiring to be a paladin, she had first met...not that it meant any difficulty for her. "So this Surtr has had an influence on you. Is that the red haired woman people say is often at your side? I wonder what else she has awakened and stirred... I wonder, are you finding more of...a connection with her?" The fox smirked playfully. "As family, I am sure, heh~ That aside, questioning your path and changing or reaffirming it is part of growth, as you know. And you have certainly grown a fair deal, in multiple ways."

"Y-yea.... She had to take on a vessel to be summoned and it was female. I think we are rather... close..." he thought back to the recent time at the end of the China singularity where someone might have caught him and Surtr resting together in the Wei Camp. He didn't want to admit what else she had done to him earlier on "I still am on the path to becoming a paladin... It's just perhaps not on the same path I thought it would be... I am being influenced by the various Divine sources around me... and there are precious few Christian ones." he would sigh a little, though would look to Hime with a smile "But at least there are other divinities that care about me."

"Nobody can live in a vacuum, after all, without cutting themselves off from the world entirely. Divine sources, supernatural, or human, all will have things they want from you, and an effect on you by encountering each other or simply with the marks they leave in passing whether you pass each other at all." Hime returned the smile but shook her head. "As you do impress me, I will advise you, I seek what potential I see in you as well. What you call caring is but a reflection of one's one desires, affection and kindness are always mutual investments. Take nothing for granted. With that said, if you would allow me to interrupt your training, would you accompany me on a little stroll?"

"A-ah... Yea I guess.." He seemed a bit disappointed at her statement. He thought they were actually friends at least, but if she doesn't actually care much for him aside from his capabilities, that would be a bit... sad. "Sure I can take a stroll with you. I hope you have been doing well at least." He felt silly for worrying about her when he heard she was unconscious for a while after the siege took place. Clearly he had misunderstood where they stood.

"I have been well. While I did not end up having as much of an impact in resolving the Singularity that passed as I might have liked, that was due to my own choices. And I did achieve one of my goals, to some degree, I am the original now in a sense... Tamamo-no-Mae is within me, that is. It took me some time to fully absorb and process her power, time in which I was in a deep sleep, but I am fulfilled all the more now. You can see it in my tails and the sheen of my fur, mik- Hime coughs. "Ah, I have taken in some habits of hers as well, pay that no mind. But for now, as the next stage for Chaldea is still to come, I would take this week as a break from all concerns like that. It is one of your holiday seasons, correct? A good time for shared companionship. Let us leave aside all matters of divine influence, one's blood and lineage, or this Grand Order, for now, shall we discuss a man named Erik and what he would like from his life?"

Erik would continue to walk with Hime, listening to her words and thinking of a response. "Me? Well... I haven't thought about that too much. Most of my life I have been either just a secluded smith or making an attempt to become a Hero that felt out of reach to honor my ancestors and become a Champion of God. Things have changed since coming here. I have actually gained power previously thought unreachable, skills capable of matching my brother potentially. I think... I want to keep gaining power and finding my place to help others. I am still considerably weaker than others around me despite my new size and growth in skill. I have mastered smithing, but I can never reach the peak of someone like Monta. My strength is unmatched by many who still hold mortal forms, yet I feel like my blows fall short. My defenses are capable, yet not nearly able to punish enemies who would target my allies as much as your own Knight Tyonis can. I have so much room to grow and I feel I can achieve much in Chaldea... but also we are in a vacuum away from reality. When we get exposed back to the rest of the world.... I don't know what I will do. Your Knight is an Enforcer of the Mage's Association, an organization that hunts down and captures people they find 'interesting' enough. That is something I just cannot accept. The Holy Church itself has... questionable methods I don't fully agree with either. In the Real World, I find it hard to figure out how I could actually be the Hero or Paladin of my ideals."

"Hm... In truth, all I have are copies of Tamamo-no-Mae's memories and knowledge, or part of them at least... That is, I am a distillation of the divinity within her that grew into my own. But drawing on that along with what I have learned and experienced since, I will tell you, none I have known in any of my lives and years have found their ideals or goals could be fully achieved in this world. The time mortals have is too short... And yet, what exactly is the definition of a Hero or Paladin that you are pursuing?" Hime paused, looking at Erik expectantly for his answer.

Erik thought only for a brief moment before responding "A righteous defender of Good who combats against Evil. It is an easier job to do in Chaldea, as we have defined targets and goals. We are literally saving all of humanity. I guess the Good I can strive for is the Good of Humanity. And the Evil I must fight against are those who wish to end it, but in the Real World, that is much harder to figure out. Nothing is so clear as ending a Singularity at any cost. At best, I would be fighting against creatures such as Dead Apostles who are active threats to Humanity. At worst, I will have to swallow my ideals and fight against those of Grey morality who simply threaten the organization I am unfortunately apart of. I know not of a better method to move towards my ideals as you need support and funds to fight against Evil. Going solo away from any organization is... unfeasible unless I compromise my morals to acquire the necessary funding. The rest of my family works more with whatever the Church wants, no matter how stained it actually is. I do not wish to fall to such a thing."

"That is the greatest question, after all. The Mage's Association, the Holy Church, your family... As you've seen, all causes and ideals, morals and principles, consciously or not are bent towards one's desires and to fit with 'their own'. What people fight and work for ends up all for those they identify with, their own comfort and interests. If you wish to stand above that, you will have to ask yourself, are your goals to achieve happiness for yourself or your chosen group? Are your ideals built from where and with who you stand? Or are you truly seeking to make the most out of yourself and this world? Could you?" The Saber sighs. "I cannot say I believe any human can, even if they dedicated their whole natural life to it. But then, you are not just any human, are you? Perhaps your cause may yet lead you to fully realize the divinity in your blood, indeed... Yet lest we slip back fully into more serious matters, shall we change the subject? I wonder what your holiday aims might be."

"Hmm the Holidays..." Erik pondered, the had sort of planned on training unless someone had invited him to an event or something. While Christmas was a Christian Holiday, there was no Church here to attend a service. He had no mortal family in Chaldea, nor was he too close with the other members of the Church. Touko was a good friend, but she seemed to be busy with her Servants. "I.. honestly had no plans. There is no church service to go to, I have no family to celebrate with, and no one has invited me to anything. I was just going to train for the next Singularity since Surtr will probably want to become active there, or make sure the gifts others request are crafted. Did you have some sort of plan perhaps? Maybe enjoying some time with your Knight?"

"Simply to wander so I may appreciate the sights and nature of this simulation. With what I gained in that Singularity, I am satisfied for now, it is a good time to bask in and take measure of this place along with those in it. That is to say, I mean to pace around and meet whoever I might, Chaldea has a number of intriguing figures from the recor-" Hime coughs "What I have heard and seen of those working here. While I let myself relax more, I would like to find others who are and perhaps be told more about them, learn directly of others besides the Knight you mention. Who, of course, I also have arranged to enjoy this holiday festival with. She still maintains lingering influence enough to have a voice in her head going on about those things... But that aside, would you come with me, then? I suggest you would benefit from the same, finding those who are indulging in this occasion to exchange talk with, build connections as you might say."

Erik shrugged slightly, he hadn't been the best at socializing before so he had never really built up any habits about going out and talking to people. He was a simpler man than that and generally spent more time training or working his craft than anything else. With the gift season, it seemed like he had a lot of crafting orders, so now it was good that he had time to train again before he got another. Socializing with Hime as they strike out to find people... Would be fine the thinks. He was still waiting on a request to Merlin to assist him with the final leg of his mastery of his giant heritage, and his training in the Exorcist arts was not of particular urgency. Taking a break to socialize could be good for him. "Well then, I wonder who we will come across then if we are simply idly walking. Or did you actually have a plan and we are going to find someone with your divine wisdom?" Erik teased lightly

Hime merely smirked playfully as they kept walking, her tails swishing against the snow and wind. Thinking for a few moments, she considered bringing up a certain project, but rejected it as still too incomplete. "It depends where we go, of course. I have no plan or route based on any wisdom, yet naturally, you may rely on my divine instincts instead! After all, I am once again part miko fox~" Letting her composure slip a little more, she marched ahead, enthusiastically headed nowhere in particular!

Erik chuckled at this new more playful side of Hime, that must be the Mae inside of her now influencing her a bit. He wondered what she would be like if she regained her full power and potential, would she be some sort of divinity he would desire to follow...? No, best not to think of that right now. His ideals towards God were already being pushed as is to justify him being so friendly with Pagan Deities, best not to contemplate following one as her shield or he may fall from grace in his own mind "Ah so you are now even more fox-like than before? I would say you were an absolute vixen previously, I wonder what sort of things you would get up to now if you are even more so?" he playfully said, something the old him would have never been able to say while still composed, though he wasn't fully composed in his mind. He was just able to look like he wasn't embarrassed saying such a thing, being sort of friendly with Hime also helped rather than her being a stranger

Ba'al had made her way out to one of the various simulated snow fields, mostly out to take a bit of a walk and see who she may or may not stumble across. At some point she'd stumble upon Erik and Hime in the midst of a conversation, and she'd give a wave to the two before walking towards them. As would most likely be quite simple for both divine beings, divinity was trailing off of her, but only faintly. As she spoke, she spoke with a soft and warm voice, like the winds that rush over the seas on a warm summers day. Her face was for the most part quite relaxed, holding a neutral expression rather than one of happiness or anything else. "Ah hello there you two... Might I come join in on your conversation? I do hope I am not intruding on anything so private?"

"Correct~ You will just have to wait and see, however, I have not fully decided myself. But perhaps by the time this festival is over, I will. But you did not mean 'absolute vixen' in any particularly insulting way, did you?" Smirking playfully, she gave Erik a teasingly light smack, before her attention was taken by sensing the approach of another divinity, and indeed, soon enough Ba'al came into view. With her relaxed, neutral expression and soft voice, the bunrei fox responded calmly, acknowledging her with a polite bow. "You may, we are both simply enjoying the surroundings here. I must ask what brings you out this way yourself, however, you're still leaking faint traces of what you are. Might I have your name first?"

Erik wasn't exactly opening his senses for searching for magic or divinity, as this simulation a was already full of other Servants and he didn't want be on edge with constantly detecting Servants around. He would wave to the woman approaching them as he chuckled at the reaction from the playful fox, though he would raise his eyebrows at Hime mentioning her leaking what she was. "Ah hello, nice to meet you..." he would wait for the name to be given before he continued his greeting, he would even extend a hand to shake hers

"I am Ba'al, a goddess from the middle east, what might your names be?" Ba'al takes a glance at his hand before grasping his hand gently and giving it a brief shake before returning her hands to her sides once more. The expression on her face could show though that she found the gesture to be a bit strange, and while she would normally not do it, it's a time where she is able to be more relaxed. It's a festive time after all, no need to be as stiff as normal.

"Ah hello Ba'al... Your vessel is not expected...." he blushes slightly as his eyes slightly wander, but he controls himself and makes sure they cease their idle wandering "My name is Erik, an aspiring Paladin." Luckily Erik was more composed than before, or he would be put into a stuttering mess at the sight of the Fertility goddess. Now he was still a bit caught off guard at the sight of the goddess, but was more composed and capable of controlling himself and staying composed. Having Hime with him also really helped since he was with someone he considered a friend, though if both of these beauties started teasing and targeting him, even with his current better capable of staying composed, he would still probably revert to his blushing more innocent self. He prayed they would both not do something like that

"The name I go by is Tamamo-no-Hime, and as you have no doubt sensed yourself, I am a divided spirit of the goddess of the sun hailing from the east. I do not hide it from those who can tell either, of course. If I may dare to ask, Ba'al of the middle east, what is your authority and domain as a goddess?" Approaching with a calm smile, Hime studied the foreign goddess more closely, admittedly admiring her form slightly as well.

"I see your eyes wander a bit Erik... Do try to keep your gaze in one spot, not that I particularly mind whether you do or do not." The goddess of storms places a hand on her cheek and lets out a small sigh, though ends off with a small huff of laughter before addressing Hime's question. "I have sensed that you are like me, as for what my authority is, it is one of wind, lightning, rain, fertility, amongst other things. What of you, do you have anymore than the sun?"

"Ah apologies. I'm still not fully used to all the beauties that the FATE system is capable of bringing forth, though I'm at least better at staying composed around them." Erik would comment, not having too much to add currently. He wasn't sure how to address this Deity in particular, since they were in particular regarded as a Demon in Christianity. Seeing them summoned here and interacting normally put him in a difficult position as his teachings would have him smite her immediately, but she was another Servant here trying to help save humanity, so doing so would be counter-productive towards his own moral sense of 'Good'. He decided to just smile and wait to see what Hime might think of her

"Quite a wide range, indeed. I, myself only have the light and power of the sun, yet it shall be said that I was born from a mere fragment of the goddess. I find myself curious, why would an undivided goddess herself lower herself to this Servant form? Did you not have followers or servants of your own?"

"Perhaps not getting used to it would be more entertaining. I believe Tamamo-no-Hime could agree with me that your flustered state is quite the interesting thing to observe." Ba'al lets out another huff of laughter before glancing to Hime once more. "As for why it is that I have lowered myself to such a state, well I believe in getting things done where I can observe it. I was certainly not expecting to be lowered to such a state though... Truly it is troublesome just how far becoming one of these... Pseudo servants brings down we divine beings..."

"That would be... problematic as I need to be capable of being composed around the people I am working with, and there are too many people around that would cause me to lose my composure in Chaldea. I have to stay composed enough to be capable of fighting effectively in combat! I would like to think it shows my growth that I can at least handle having a clear conversation with Hime now." He awkwardly chuckles a bit, kind of embarrassed about how he had trouble even holding a conversation with her when he first met her. And him mentioning his growth and the effects was ironic, as he had literally grown 2 feet taller from his training of his Giant Blood to show his literal growth through his training.

"That is so, when his name first caught my attention, he was decidedly less able to keep his composure when flustered enough...~ But with time and meeting others here on his own, he has moved past that, indeed. Yet it does make it slightly tempting to play with him~" Giggling lightly, Hime focuses on Ba'al again. "So you are not one to stay an observer alone, then. But yes, for any of divine nature to fit this form, it requires either division or the possession of a host to reduce oneself enough, a noticeable limitation for sure."

"Perhaps we might have a chance to be playful with him some more at some point in time. I believe that we two would have quite the fun doing that together at least~" She gives Erik a small smirk, that had this strange mellowness about it. "Hopefully in time we both will be able to regain more of our former power... Even if we may not regain it all, a notable portion would be quite useful..."

Erik chuckled a bit nervously as the two beauties talked of playing with him. While he had better composure, he still was not great at dealing with women actually coming onto them and denying them if they wanted to drag him off. That could only be gained with experience, which he had to gain eventually. He rubbed the back of his head a bit embarrassed as a slight blush forms on his face "A-ah well then. If that's what you two want to do..." he nervously looked between the two of them, not really sure how to respond to this situation

"Hopefully so. As a divided spirit, working toward regaining my, or one might say her, original power has clear methods, and for a full goddess herself, it may be even simpler." Giggling more at the sight of Erik's blush, Hime smirked teasingly, steadily approaching the flustered paladin in training as she spoke. "Hm... Perhaps this is a sign, after all. Or did you find yourself drawn here to set up this opportunity, goddess Ba'al~?"

The goddess without a gesture flies up to meet Erik face to face, then gives him a gentle pat on the cheek. Then taking a glance towards Hime once more. "Perhaps I did set this up, though I shall leave that up for myself to know, and for you both to figure out at one point or another~ Whatever do you have in mind for where we may get up to?" She floats over to Hime and pats her cheek as well, a small and peaceful smile on her face, similar to a cool breeze on an empty plains.

This was starting to look bad for Erik, or perhaps good. Kinda depends on your perspective and how the rest of the night will go, but it seemed like he was about to get drug off and teased even more by these two divinities. Who knows if they will actually go further or not, but with one of them being a fertility God, well, he could only guess. "Haha...." He would chuckle nervously, before looking around to see if anyone else is around, not sure if he was looking for help or hoping there were no witnesses to him getting drug away. "O-on the subject of divinity, p-perhaps there may be methods in this singularity to reinvigorate the faded spark in my own blood..." he would comment, making a feeble attempt at potentially distracting the two divine beauties from dragging him off

"Ah, are you hoping to meet another of your ancestors? It is always a possibility. Perhaps you'll see during your work there... But not this day~" With Ba'al patting her cheek, she returns the smile, accepting the goddess' whims easily and almost repeating the gesture herself. "There is nothing I have in mind, other than a stroll with this one here to see what might be found, or come to us. Such as you did~ Would you like to continue on with us, and perhaps indulge as we go?"

"Looking behind you towards those who came before you is always a good place to begin in your search... The singularity we are facing as of now, perhaps it is one which has some of your kin... Though who knows whatever it may or may not bring..." Ba'al honestly wouldn't have minded if Hime did that, compared to if she were her younger self(saber) which was far far more aggressive, the Caster version of herself was quite tame. "And I would love to join you both, in both this walk and 'indulging' in whatever else~"

"Aha... yea... 'indulging'... I think I should try and get some more training in before I challenge to many things in the Singularity, it seemed like there were potentially more entities similar to yourselves than things similar to me." Erik would smile nervously down at the two women, it being a bit ironic that this large man was being so easily toyed with so easily by these two, but he still had a bit of a weakness towards women actively coming onto him. He was better about it, but he still had a ways to improve. Though, he was showing signs of potentially being able to come onto other girls on his own when he was comfortable enough

"Gods and those of divine blood, that is? Hm, more reason for me to enter, perhaps. Ah, but that is not a subject for today." Giggling at Erik's clear nervousness, a bright and all so slightly fanged smirk showing on her face, she turned to walk onward, continuing the stroll as she waved for the two to follow. "Then we shall stroll some more. You can get to know Erik as we walk, of course~"

"Getting to know you both in depth seems like it would be quite pleasant." Ba'al lets out a small chuckle before landing on the ground once more to follow Hime. So far she found the both of them quite interesting people, quite the man who was embarrassed at the actions of the two goddesses, and a fellow divine being who she could get along with quite well.
