On the way into the city, you meet up with Elysia and Tristan who were just going around shooting arrows through any Zhou soldier they could set their eyes on.
"Oh? More friends of yours?" Sun Quan asks you in a surprisingly childish tone.
"I like your eyes," she tells Elysia.
(edited)"Tristan of the Round Table. Poetic."
Sun Quan puts her arms behind her. "Do I need to introduce myself? My name is Sun Quan, leader of the Wu Kingdom."
"What were you two doing out here? Aren't you supposed to go for the grail?"
"It's probably magic," Sun Quan adds. "Zhou has always had mages under his control. He overcompensates way too much, really."
That makes Sun Quan more curious. "Oh? You've been struggling?"
"Hm, I guess not. But I'm not surprised. You guys are practically invincible."
"Should we keep going then?"
"Me too," Sun Quan says, getting up next to him.
It doesn't take long for your group to step inside the fog. The further you get in, the harder it gets to see. You realize that if you advance, it'll be impossible to see in here for a normal human.
The fog's area is heavily obscured, and anyone within it is effectively blinded.
"This is bad," Sun Quan says. "You guys have some way to get rid of this, right? I know you like to be mysterious, but you don't have to keep me waiting."
Sun Quan moves aside to make way for Klara.
Klara's spell disperses the fog and creates a clear path in front of her.
Sun Quan simply nods. "Alright. Looks like you can get rid of it."
Using this opportunity, you can get through the fog with your vision slightly less hempered.
Even though it's still hard to make anything out in this fog, you're able to pick up on a few things.
The streets are full of bloodied and torn corpses, with marks that suggest bestial activity.
And, although sluggish, you can hear movement in the distance.
The movements are drawing closer.
Just when Klara says that, someone's words ring out through the fog.
"Good evening."
A girlish voice greets you.
"Ufufu.. I've already ate so much, but you humans keep feeding me. You're so stupid."
Actually....
Those corpses, they actually reminded her of something, something familiar to her. Do...they even exist in this era? She didn't really remember such beings existing in this part of the world. Ms. Luiza had brought her on a trip to hunt these things before, plus she herself knows how exactly such corpses are made.
"Arran....I think we're dealing with something really dan-"
Before she could finish, she notices the movements are getting closer, causing Klara to stop on her track. She notices the voice ringing through the fog. Her eyes looked around as she had grown much more wary.
"I think we are dealing with a Vampire....or perhaps a Dead Apostle for those who came from the church..."Arran, you concentrate and can make out a pair of distinguished footsteps, lighter and faster than the other ones. They're about 160 feet from you.
"Are you scared..?"
The girl speaks teasingly.
"At first, I was too. I was scared for so long. But.. it doesn't even hurt anymore. If I keep eating, it doesn't hurt."
"So, please.. please die for me."
Through clearing some of the fog covering the area directly around them, Klara reveals a ghoul walking straight towards your group.
Arran charges through the fog and finds his target.
A girl the spitting image of Klara, fresh blood on her mouth.
The girl's eyes widen when Arran moves to attack her.
"..!"
She quickly slips back into the fog.
Once the girl left, even the sound of her steps vanished.
But then--!
"Your eyes..! Why are you looking at me with those eyes!"
She pounces on Arran, biting into his arm.
"Die, die, just die! Don't you look at me like that!"
On the other side of the battlefield, Sun Quan's eyes gleam with joy.
"Yes, that's just like it. Your friend is amazing," she tells Klara. "Hah. How are humans of the future ever afraid of anything?"
She follows after him, running into the fog.
"You're wrong," Sun Quan says. "He could face anything! You don't get it, because you're not from our time. This is what humans like me have always aspired to. To never have to rely on anyone else, to always be strong enough to face whatever comes your way. That's why he's amazing!"
The next time the girl strikes at Arran, he's ready for her and shoots straight through her right arm.
"Agh..!"
Her face twists into an innocently pained expression.
"Why.. why do you hurt me..! Why do you look at me like that! Stop it! I'm not evil!"
Tristan's arrows fly through the air like songs, striking through the girl.
"Gh-- ah-"
Her heart is torn through four different times and her body hits the ground.
Sun Quan keeps running forward, following after Arran.
"I knew it," she says. "I knew you're special. And your friends, too. You can fight things I never even imagined existing without so much as hesitating."
She laughs. "Even if I'll forget everything about this, I'll never forget this. There's no way I would."
The girl opens her mouth to say something. All the pain and malice has disappeared.
"You.."
But before she can
you bury the blade deep into her heart.
With her eyes half-open, her body crumbles away like it was never even meant to be there.
All of you group together again where Arran is.
@Game Ping 8"Poor thing. Well, not like it means anything. None of this will have happened," Sun Quan says coldly.
"You," Sun Quan says to Klara. "Can you deal with this again?"
She motions around to the fog.
It takes Elysia a considerable amount of effort and time to remember where exactly those ghouls were.
Ughh.. saber.. your knight order should just never be on a table
What a horrific sound, what could gawin ahve done to create such a monster... ah right he fucking cooked. Gil is shaking his head endlessly
Remember try not to break the room yea?
"Caster, any idea what this is about?"
said Ciel telepathically to her servant."Ah yes, I attend that contest. I managed to eat two of Gawain plate before finally getting to Archer's cooking. It was hard but in the end I completed my objective. I decided not to try for seconds and count my blessings. If we have to eat more, it will not be easy."
"Caster, perhaps we should go on the offensive and serve him something just as terrible. I have invented a weapon of mass destruction known has Death Curry, perhaps I should use it in this case."
Ciel would then turn to face the other two. "Greetings, my name is Ciel, master of Chaldea. Let us do our best here."We are going to have a food fight...
It seems that he was done praying
You think we could just pay someone to eat it?
I need a bath after this.... ughh
He groans as some speck of the creature still manages to hit him, a hollowing taste, wtf is the king eating"Remind me to give Gawain a fate worse then death."
said Ciel telepathically to Gilgamesh as she continued to be assaulted by a creature that should not exist.Well... Ciel lets end this food fight... I need a bath
Gilgamesh blackstaff shone red and redder, he cleared a path towards the enemy, he side steps a little bit as his master would come rushing through, what happen next? who knows lol. oNe thing for sure gawain is gonna get some payback"You and I both."
said Ciel telepathically back to Gilgamesh. With that she would fire a barrage of black keys and finish the creature off or so she thought. Despite the effects of her black keys and the amount of damage she had done, the creature still somehow managed to remain alive. The Burial Agent would sigh, this was more trouble then it was worth.Just think of revenge on gawain later~ It's a desert that is best for last
He started chuckling from exhaustion of this horrid stank
Director Animusphere has given you a simple order: venture into the snowstorm in the north of Germania and find the missing Masters.
For this, you'll have to brace the cold that threatened the lives of the group that rayshifted here and established your base.
Effects of the blizzard:
All travel speed is halved. All terrain is difficult terrain and wagon travel is impossible.
All creatures are heavily obscured if they are more than 20 feet from you. All terrain is difficult terrain.
A strong wind imposes disadvantage on ranged weapon attack rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks. A strong wind also extinguishes open flames, disperses fog, and makes flying by nonmagical means nearly impossible. A flying creature in a strong wind must land at the end of its turn or fall.
(edited)For every hour of travel, all characters must succeed a DC 26 Constitution saving throw or take 2d6 bludgeoning and 4d6 cold damage as numbing frost takes over them and sleet assails them. On a failed save, they suffer a level of exhaustion. On a successful save, they take half damage and suffer no exhaustion. Efforts to keep warm grant advantage on this roll.
I also read a report of someone guarding this land... we might want to stay away from her
He made sure to wear his coats for the journeyDa Vinci connects to you through your communications.
"Hey there. Before you head out into the blizzard and our connection cuts off, let's get any questions you have out of the way."
Do you have a rough sketch of their path before you lost them?
Gil responded"Before they went off into the snowstorm, yes. The last time we kept our connection was not too far from the village your last group discovered."
"Finding the source will be your job. All we know is that this snow is packed with magical energy. It makes detecting the source through our scans impossible."
"Well, we've found the south west in Germania is fairly high in magical density too, but since that one isn't blocked off by a Bounded Field analyzing it is simple. That's not the case for the north. As long as that Bounded Field is blocking off our surveillance, there's nothing I can assist you with."
"So, that's the situation. From here on, you'll be in an extreme environment and your connection to Chaldea will be completely fractured. If you fall here, you won't be able to send a distress signal. Your bodies will be buried and lost in ice and no one will be able to come to your rescue. Still ready to head out?"
(edited)"What of nearby leylines? Tracing them into the storm area may be a helpful guide, at least for the source of these conditions."
"That's what I like to hear. Here. If you're following the path of the missing Masters we lost, this is what you're working with."
https://i.imgur.com/QISWNQy.pngWell there's no use delaying the inevitable, though I would recommend tying ourselves together so that we dont get lost in there. Any other inputs?
Gil looks at the raging blizzard running amok through the icy mountain, quite a sight... can a human even survive in there? Both of the dragons fail to keep up with the speed of Tyonis' Mystic Code in this environment. If they were real dragons, their pure amount of magical energy would be able to completely shrug off the effects of the cold, but they're unable to. They push themselves to their limits, suffering damage from the harsh environment in response.
You make it through to a point where the trees around you are completely crystallized in ice.
I found a track fo a group of individuals heading this way, it seems we might be on the right track or they are in chase
The cold white snow almost covered the tracks but he found it, a clue of what might be the first group that chaldea had sentThere's a frozen village in the direction that the tracks lead too, tyonis mind scouting ahead?
Through Gil's lead, the group eventually reaches a village that's completely frozen over. Through it runs what must have once been a river but is now pure ice. There's signs of a struggle having taken place here.
Some of the houses have broken as a result of crystallizing, as have the trees around them.
As a result of Gil's investigation and your general search through the area, you discover several points of interest:
There's blood covered deeply in the snow. There's a broken wheelchair in the center of the village. There's a house whose entrance is blocked by some kind of magic.
2
◉◉〇5
〇The Bounded Field dissipates, but the building remains crystallized in solid ice.
Hime melts an entrance into the crystallized house.
In the center of the house, you see a young woman with light brown skin and dark hair floating mid-air. Her hands are clasped together and her eyes are closed.
In the center of the village, two Servants materialize.
One is a familiar face to Chaldea's records, the calm headed Lancer-class Servant Scathach Lily.
The other is an unfamiliar woman with fiery blonde hair and a cocky grin on her face.
"Pathetic. Another group of humans has come here. By the looks of it, you're the same as those other bastards. You must be masochists coming here to get more of your asses kicked," the blonde Servant says.
"..."
Scathach stays quietly by her side. She looks aside before glaring at you.
Even though you can hardly make them out in this 60 feet distance, they seem to be able to see you much better.
"......"
Scathach points at you with her spear.
"These are from the same group as the humans I failed to capture," she says.
The Servant at her side laughs.
"Ahahaha! These weaklings beat you? For a Servant, you really are just like a pathetic human," the blonde Servant mocks her. "Let's go!"
She charges at you.
@Game Ping 8 everyone roll initiativeThe blonde Servant has two break bars. Scathach Lily has one break bar.
Scathach's body moves swiftly, landing on top of the building to her left.
She throws a barrage of copies of her spear, the Gae Bolg, shattering the other two frozen buildings and wounding four of the group.
Scathach continues to borrow the group in a barrage of her spear, cutting through the divinities possessed by the majority of them.
"...."
"...!"
Even while blinded, Scathach instinctively parries the incoming blade.
Scathach falls off the now destroyed crystallized tree but shows no reaction to the friendly fire.
With Tyonis turning on her and Lancelot CSed in, Scathach starts to struggle to keep up with the fight. You keep catching openings in her defense and she's sustained severe injuries.
Now, with Lancelot taking ownership of her Noble Phantasm, she's been wounded by her own legacy..!
"Gh....!"
Despite all this, she doesn't cry or complain. She keeps taking your attacks head on..!
"!"
The focus in Scathach's eyes wavers for a second, but she steels herself.
"Never..! If I lose...."
"..."
Coolness returns to Scathach once more.
"I'll never abandon her."
She doesn't say anything after that.
"...."
Scathach looks at everyone's wounded state.
". . ."
"There's someone I'd be leaving behind," she says. "I can't. I have to stay by her side."
"I'm sorry."
She resumes her battle stance.
"..gh."
Scathach's eyes waver once more but her expression truly becomes that of a warrior.
"You took my spear..! If you have any honor, you'll know I'm bound to do everything to take it back!"
". . ."
Scathach looks at the dropped weapon.
"...Just leave. Leave before that Alter Ego comes back. She'll chase you and she won't hesitate to kill any of you."
Scathach doesn't break eye contact with you, but she doesn't pick up your halberd either.
When Vidofnir returns from burning the entire maze down in flames, she's treated to only Scathach remaining on the battlefield.
"I failed," Scathach says. "They were too strong for me."
"....."
"I don't know."
Director Olga Marie appears on your communications screen.
"We've received a friendly signal from a rogue Servant. She's introduced herself as the eldest sister of the valkyries. It seems she wants to talk to us about the dragon that recently attacked this mountain."
"Talking to rogue Servants should be an easy task for every Master by now. I leave handling her to all of you."
@Game Ping 8"Very well," Olga says to Ortlinde's request.
"Try to squeeze as much information as possible out of her. If she poses any problems for us, dispose of her."
The director sends the group to meet her at the base of the mountain.
A young woman with long, white and blue hair awaits you there. In her hand, she holds a spear with a tip shaped like a heart.
Upon seeing Ortlinde, her eyes immediately widen.
"Ortlinde? My dear sister, is it really you?"
Brynhildr immediately flies to Ortlinde as well, pulling her into a firm embrace.
"How happy I am to see you. What about Thrud and Hildr? Are they doing well too?"
"Please, don't force yourself. Knowing you are all taking care of one another is good enough for me."
Brynhildr smiles and then points out her heels.
"It is nothing like the Svanhvit you were gifted with, but I've needed to improvise to match the threat these lands pose."
@[Serpon]Teno/Penth/Nico/Azu"It seems wise to get right to the heart of the matter," Brynhildr concurs.
She looks to the rest of the group.
"You're all friends of Ortlinde and allies to mankind, yes? Then you are my friends too."
"There is much to talk about. It was my failure that led this dragon to attack the mountain you reside on. I've done my best to keep them caged in for as long as I could, but I'm not able to contain them anymore. That is why I came here as soon as I heard about the attack."
@Game Ping 8"You have my thanks, Sir Gawain. I welcome you to join me in battling my foes. My name is Brynhildr, as you have already heard. I am the oldest of the valkyries and one of the Servants summoned to defend mankind when this Singularity grew."
Brynhildr turns to Ortlinde. "I would like to take you to my fortress. We can continue our conversation on the way."
"King Arthur.. what an imposing name."
Brynhildr looks aside, a nostalgic smile on her face. "The knights of the round table are men of great valor. The honor is mine, Sir Gawain."
She bows in response to Tao Xifeng.
"With one dragon having already come here, there is bound to be more. But I am not worried about our words reaching the wrong ears, if that is what you're asking. I wish for us to speak on our journey simply to save time."
"There are two more, but neither of them are part of the group of three Servants I was summoned here with. They both came later, when the monsters were already here," Brynhildr says.
"I.. find it hard to cooperate with either of them. One is simply unpleasant to be around and the other I avoid for more personal matters."
"Just speaking of him makes my heart tremble. His name is Siegfried. He is helping one of the four surviving tribes against both giants and dragons, and for that, I believe it'd be wise for you to join forces with him."
She explains the route she wants to take.
"If we're all fast on our feet, we should be able to reach the fortress by tomorrow night."
Brynhildr looks at the Masters and then back at the Servants. "I'm sure one of you is strong enough to carry them."
"As for the other rogue Servant, I believe his origin lies in Irish mythology. But the form he's taken here... no, I simply can't help but find being around him demoralizing. I suppose you could say he makes me self-conscious."
When Ortlinde yells out, she reacts with surprise.
"What's the matter, Ortlinde..?"
(edited)"Yes, he does. Have you already run into him?"
"I have not seen him in combat, but he appears to practice magecraft. He is of the Caster class."
"If that is what you wish, I will," Brynhildr tells Ortlinde innnocently.
If its such a big problem, she could take over cooking for the group as well. When it comes to housekeeping, she'd always been very reliable. After all, her younger sisters looked up to her not only for her strength.
. . .
The road leads you through hills, forests and swamps, as most of the terrain in Germania is made up of such. Eventually, you pass by the river marked for your journey.
"To answer your question whether dragons are my only foes, you are wrong. I consider the giants of the north, fae of the west and beasts from all directions to be just as much of my enemy."
"It simply happened so that this is what I ended up having to use my spear for. If no one else tried to stop them, they'd have already ran over most of Germania."
"Ortlinde, is it truly not in your heart to give Sir Gawain's meals a chance?"
When you reach about the midway mark, you've been walking for eight hours without pause. For the Masters, it's clear that it'll eventually start to become tiring if they keep going like this.
Perhaps I should've brought Taira along...
Tao thinks to herself before hearing the servant's proposals. "That..." She sighs. "That would be appreciated."Brynhildr smiles when Chaldea's Heroic Spirits finally offer the Masters to carry them.
"We can pause when it gets dark. It's best not to tread carelessly at night. These dragons adapt to the black of it, viciously attacking any human that takes a wrong step. Since one has already gone as far as to your base, it'd be no surprise if we run into more on the way."
As you head through a muddy forest, Gawain's dagger of warning begins to pulse with red light.
Even alert of danger, there's no enemies in sight. Until suddenly, a harpy comes rushing through from amidst the thicket of trees above the group.
@Game Ping 8 join initiative"Stand behind me," Brynhildr tells the Masters. "I will keep you safe."
"Well fought, Heroic Spirits, but it's not over yet! Protect the Masters!"
The group can set up camp not far from there to heal their injuries.
After Galatine burns a crater into the forest, the dragons are easily finished off by Emiya and Ortlinde.
"What an impressive Noble Phantasm," Brynhildr remarks.
"I've always been warned to stay away from fire, but having it on your side is not so bad."
"Come. Let me heal your injuries."
"No, I insist. Even a small cut can lead to infections left untreated."
"...Well, we are Servants now, but the sentiment remains."
As the other dragon draws its final breaths, a faint chorus of unintelligible whispers fills everyones minds.
Brynhildr rams her spear into its throat and they end.
Bryn turns her attention away from their corpses and smiles at Ortlinde.
"You've become stronger than I remember."
When Ortlinde and Emiya move up to one of the dragon's corpses, Brynhildr raises her hand.
"I don't think that's..."
Poisonous gas pours out of the cut up corpse, invading the two Servants bodies with its spores and poisoning both of them.
They both hear the whispers again for a brief moment, then their senses feel clouded.
"Are you alright? Be careful."
Brynhildr looks at the heart in Emiya's hands.
"You shouldn't keep that."
"Burn it. Nothing good can come out of keeping those things around."
The burning wood's flames shoot up.
"Whatever you do, we need to stop this fire from spreading. Monsters may have taken up residence in this land, but it still belongs to humans."
Brynhildr begins to take off into the sky.
"Ortlinde, could you assist me?"
In the middle of combining their runes, the flames begin to disappear and Brynhildr stops.
"It seems our runes won't be needed, sister," Brynhildr says with a smile. She descends back down.
"We should start moving again."
"....What do you plan to do with that thing?"
"Using it for research purposes may be wise, but make no mistakes. These things are without a doubt dragons, but they're nothing like the Fafnir my love fought."
"Their bodies hold only venom. If you're seeking the true dragons, that of the kind which has long left most of the world, you won't find them here."
@Game Ping 8The dragon corpses are already rapidly falling into a necrotic state.
"Yes, let us make haste."
Ortlinde's body rejects the poison, but Emiya is starting to wear down and looks sickly.
Brynhildr leads you deeper into the more muddy and swampy lands.
"This is the safest route we can take," she says. "Anywhere else and the air will already be too poisoned to endure."
Brynhildr points to a cliff overlooking the swamps where a fortress stands tall.
"The fortress is not far now. We were faster than I thought. In an hours time, we'll be there."
Through Ortlinde's rune, Emiya overcomes the poison before losing control.
"The more resilient of them might be, but no giant treads here."
"This is the Chatti tribe, one of the four last surviving tribes in this country. As embarrassing as it may be to say, they have elected me their queen."
"They'll be overjoyed to find help has come."
@Game Ping 8
Game is done, rp channel will be opened soon
And so, its time to begin!
Caster Gilgamesh has decided to set up a Territory near the borders of Jotunheim. Obviously, the inhabitants of such territories are not happy with that and, so, they have sent warriors and monsters into the area to annihilate the intruder.
Fortunately, Caster Gilgamesh foresaw this and, as such, has prepared a small group of servants that will hopefully help with fending off the angry Frost Monsters.
@Game Ping 8At least I have not seen a future where vidofnir would come. Tho prepare yourself and don't die on me now!
Gil says preparing the stuff he needs to prepare for the battleSoon, the sounds of trees being demolished and moved around can be heard as heavy footsteps approach. Soon, the massive figures of the monsters here to destroy the intruders can be seen. In total, it appears to be 3 Frost Giants, 4 Dire Trolls and 3 Massive Ice Wolves.
There is a lot of them...
Asclepius notes. The monsters swarm the group, Trolls attacking with their bodies, wolves releasing frost breaths and giants slamming their greataxes down onto the poor servants.
Hopefully they'll be all right.
In the far distance, a pillar of flames can be seen, before its soon disappearing.
From the distance, the sound of trees being brought down can be heard.
Prepare for the worst... go thin the number before they wake up
And here I thought this would already be it.
He shook his head. Still being invisible and casting his cantrips to deal some damage. And? You're just a chicken that is way past their bed time~
He chuckles, baiting her to attack himOne down... But that bird is still present. Hopefully she won't be too much of a problem.
Little bird~ trying to touch me~? wouldn't that be fun? c'mon~ before your fire runs out
He continues to put fire into the oilWith a growl, the Ice Wolf obeys as it steps onto the servants body before biting on his head and twisting, breaking the neck before it bites harder and separates the head from its body, killing the God of Medicine in a brutal manner before his body dissipates into mana.
And so, lets begin. Martha and her servants have decided that they will head into the Den of the Black Dragons to hopefully take down their boss while also hunting any black dragon along the way for their hearts, which turns out are quite useful for making poisons.
We find the Master and 2 Servants on the way towards the Den by trudging through the swampy path.
@Game Ping 8As she finishes the Chant, Martha suddenly gains awareness of everything on a 300 ft. radius around herself. She decides to focus on the Terrain, Animals and Minerals of the area and receives the following information:
- There were plenty of sources of water, of course a lot of them were swampy water but there was also a couple clear springs of water that remain pure in the distance.
- There wasn't many animals, presumably because this was so close to the Den of the Dragons and thus, would be devoured in masse.
- There...wasn't a lot of minerals around the area.
While she was doing that, through. Cu's sharp ear would allow him to pick up the sound of the wind being parted away by something big heading their way.
@Squig"Looks like the deal is coming to us Master"
@Ma|Resur|Anastasia|King| CWith a roar, a big Black Dragon appears on the sky, heading towards the group before it lands in front of them, causing a small tremor. Its accompanied by two smaller Black Dragons.
Alright. It looks big and strong. Feel free to go all out, Lancer. We'll have Zan-sama to assist you with the smaller ones! Don't use your Noble Phantasm just yet!
She spoke to both her servants telepathically as she had shrouded her and okuni under the false rock.W-we're counting on you, Lancer!
"Thanks you Master"
He thought in his head while receiving healing from MarthaYou can stay here for a bit, Okuni-chan. I'm heading out and helping Lancer. Though I don't intend to tell you to not help us. Come and join us, if you wish!
She says as she places a hand on her chest. And her eyes glowed magnificently.
Suddenly, she moved forward out of the rock and said in the most fiercest yet most monotonous way.
"Henshin." TL notes: Henshin = Transform.
Turning herself into a beautiful black scaled two headed monstrosity.
It then launched attacks at the young dragon! The young dragon roars in challenge to the sudden new predator appearing in its turf.
Okuni-chan, are you still okay? Lancer, can you still keep going?
I'm done here, I'll be helping Okuni-chan, Lancer. Don't ruin its heart.
She spoke to her Lancer telepathically as their wounds healed and they reached by the dragons side. And after that arduous battle, they have eliminated the first squad. They were at the edge of the swampy path towards the Den of Dragons and already dragons were coming. Shall they continue?
Moving over to the dragon corpses, Martha swiftly goes over and begins cutting them up to harmlessly remove their hearts, where the dragon's mana was collected and transformed into an acid that they could spit out as a projectile. Luckily, she manages to remove the hearts easily, managing to take the hearts from the Young Dragons and the Ancient Dragon.
Upon a quick check up, she would find that while the Ancient Dragon was good enough to craft one of the Acid grenades she wanted. The Young Dragon's heart barely had enough to make maybe half of one, meaning she would need 2 Young Dragon hearts to craft one of the Acid Grenades.
While the group takes a closer look at the already decaying dragon corpses, the loud and dull sound of wind howls out from above them. 300 feet above them, a massive dragon, much larger than any of the ones they'd fought is beating its wings, calmly hovering over the group with its massive shadow. On its back is a humanoid figure wearing an armor that shimmers with gold.
@Game Ping 8Martha's enhanced sight gives her a clearer view of the woman riding the dragon.
https://i.imgur.com/O0pNoHc.pngSuddenly, the dragon quickly descends to the ground, causing it to shake on impact.
"..."
The golden woman looks at the group with a cold expression.
"Did you come here to kill us?"
Contrary to her appearance, her voice sounds surprisingly sincere.
@Game Ping 8"Ah."
She looks over to the Servant healing herself.
"You're scared."
She doesn't leave the dragon's back.
"I see. If that's all, I will now kill you."
Her hands fill with golden light.
"One answer before you die?"
Her expression doesn't change.
"You're murderers."
She gives a simple answer.
"But humans are always like that. You just trample and kill without thinking about consequences."
Its time we run.
And so they did.I agree. This is the most opportune moment to leave the stage, Ma-Chan, Lancer.
"This is quite embarrassing, hey gave me a token next time and I might swallow it for luck"
Brynhildr smiles.
"We may not have slain Nidhoggr, but we gained a vast wealth of knowledge. I'm certain that this time, victory will be ours."
The young men that greeted the first Chaldean group that came here gather around this one, all wanting to join in despite not being ready yet.
They have a bet that whoever's the first who slays a dragon will get to marry Brynhildr.
"I never agreed to that.." She says quietly.
If we can win this through diplomacy, all the better. While I have experience fighting True Ancestors, those battles have never gone well and as such I would like to avoid battle.
said Ciel telepathically to her Ruler Class Servant.
"Everyone be careful. I have fought a True Ancestor several times and it has never gone well for me. Only choose to fight her if their is no other choice. If we do fight her, I will attempt to attack from her range using the Seventh Holy Scripture, I will need someone to keep her away from me. Though let us focus on our primary objective, killing the dragon."I will try.
responded Ciel to Gilgamesh before then nodding her head in agreement with Jeanne.
"Hopefully one of us can convince her. Try to find the dragon and kill it. Once that is done, we can attempt to retreat. We if we cannot convince her, some of us will have to try to hold her off while the others go for the dragon."
Ciel then shifted her attention to Brynhildr. "Lancer, do you have a master?""I.. do not."
"Oh. You mean..?"
She bites her lower lip.
"I wouldn't want to trouble you."
"Mh.."
Brynhildr's expression eases.
"What is your name?"
@[Serpon]Teno/Penth/Nico/Azu"Ciel," Brynhildr repeats.
"I accept your contract."
She looks aside.
"Having a male Master would just.."
Lead to worries.
"Thank you. For trusting me."
@[Serpon]Teno/Penth/Nico/AzuJust make sure to stay away from Shiki Tohno, he is mine.
-Ah? I had no intentions to-, Brynhildr answers telepathically. -I already have someone who-
She turns red and clears her throat.
"..We should leave now."
Ugh... why must i be so popular
The woman's cold expression does not change upon hearing that name.
"..."
Her little desire for conversation doesn't seem to have changed.
@Game Ping 8"I don't know who you're talking about," she says.
She glares at Shiki and the atmosphere gains an immense pressure filled with the intent to kill.
"I don't know any Arcueid."
"Why would I talk to humans about our father? Did you come here to ask me meaningless questions?"
"That's better," she says. "That kind of face suits your kind."
"Are you angry? Are you hurt? It's not enough."
She calmly steps closer too, her hands filling with divine light.
...Now from one royal to another shall we have a nice talk over some tea? I mean who doesn't enjoy a cup of tea~
"Names are for humans," she answers. "I'd never need something that pointless."
"It doesn't matter what you see me as."
"I'm growing tired of talking."
The woman looks over to Shiki.
"And I don't believe it. He's just some human boy."
"You think you can frighten me, but you're all nothing but humans."
Lancer, fall back, she is a bit too much for you, see if you can slay the dragons instead.
Ciel's blows cause a massive impact on hit. The woman falters for the first time, almost losing her balance to it.
"Gh.."
She turns to Ciel, but then continues to attack Brynhildr to finish her off.
The woman's blade of light continuously clashes with Ciel's Seventh' Holy Scripture. A new emotion is forming on her face.
"What are you?"
@[Serpon]Teno/Penth/Nico/Azu"Why?"
She keeps striking with her blade, growing frustrated.
"You have to be lying. Why would anyone side with a human?"
"Nn.."
She doesn't say anything after that, but her expression shows that Ciel is causing a reaction in her.
"Wh..!?"
The woman turns around just to see her hair float through the air.
"You...?"
@Tyonis Shiki"Your eyes.."
She'd already noticed it before, but her disdain for humans didn't allow her to spend even a single thought on it.
"How..?"
Consciousness returns to Brynhildr who awakes to see the Foreigner shielding her.
"Hm..?"
She's too wounded to realize what exactly happened, but her eyes widen seeing someone go so far for her.
The shells of the Seventh Holy Scripture impact the True Ancestor once again, leaving deep wounds on her body.
"Harm me?"
She finally regains her composure.
"Yeah, I can't accept it."
"I don't know who this Arcueid is, but if she likes humans, I hate her too."
She turns to look at the strands of hair fallen onto the ground and over Shiki.
After Peter moves away from shielding her with his body, Brynhildr stands up again.
"Thank you," she says.
"..."
She gives him a small smile.
"You look frightening, but you're actually a wonderful man."
"Never forget that. You're a hero, after all."
Raising her spear, she begins to fill it with the last remnant of her magical energy.
"Now..!"
She leaps towards the True Ancestor, putting every bit of strength left in her spirit core into her Noble Phantasm, burning herself in a blue flame alongside it.
"There's one thing I regret," she tells herself quietly. "I wish I'd had the courage to face that Saber."
Her voice fills with determination
"However..!"
"I may not be a dragon slayer, but I won't let an evil dragon run rampant!"
She calls out her Noble Phantasm's True Name.
The True Ancestor is completely enveloped in a massively destructive blast of blue energy.
And when it dissipates, Brynhildr is gone with it.
@ArbyOrNotToBe
The group meets up within the area of the Chervsci tribe, their goal today was to hunt down some Wyverns and extract their poison! It'll probably be at least a few hours walk from where they were to the designated area that they've been spotted last...
An author such as yourself~ would have written tales about my greatness have you not?
The king is interested to hear your answer, answer well~An author such as yourself~ would have written tales about my greatness have you not?
The king is interested to hear your answer, answer well~ Master, that guy gives me the creeps.
HAHA~ my life is indeed a drama, something that might sound fiction to you lot~ I think there is only 1 record of fiction back in the Age of Gods about myself
*A golden portal would appear above the king himself, a shadow of sharp golden edge with brown paper-ish lining would pop up behind him, out of it would drop a book.
As you can see, a trashy work of fiction and dreamless writers sold to me by mongrels~
(edited)We have an author and an arrogant king. Things we have to make do with in this line of work... Try not to disfigure them too much if they become a problem.
Dominic would take a look again at the others, sizing them up a bit as they walked. The other Master seemed to be semi-fresh from Cryo, with the Author being a fresh summon. He knew that the caster form of Gilgamesh had been around for a long time though and would be difficult to deal with if it came down to it.I don't have anything against the author personally. I can't stand mermaids.
Just talking about them gives her the creeps.
But arrogant men are the worst. I'll take a mermaid who doesn't realize she's past her prime over a man like that any day.
"You guys are noisy." (edited)This will be the start of a very long walk… Hey at least you guys have each other? Unlike Skyrim you guys don’t hear dragons from 10 miles away. At least you don’t right now… But hey there’s a shit load of other creatures in and around that you guys can easily avoid due to those on lookout actually having fucking Clairvoyance with its fucking more vision…*
(edited)Haha~ I am not quarelling merely sharing my thought, why would i care for the words of a mongrel? lets move forward shall we~
The wands would stay above them following the group's movement especially the author's...
His face was cold not quite ready for such insolence to continue any futher during the journey, still holding back as he is a mere mongrel human who is supposed to guide and protect, but such insolence to aking and perfect being is simply too much.Andersen, as your Master I must support you in your endeavors or whatever.
But uh, I think he's not happy. At all.
Its still a bit of a walk from the place where the wyverns were detected. You guys are about 1-2 hours walk south so far. Or about half way to the place where the enemies were spotted!!! But of course, the wyverns were only reported to have been flying around there so their nest could have been anywhere in that area.
Good. He shouldn't be. If I die for speaking the truth that he does not want to hear, that's on him.
You.
Gilgamesh's gaze would fix onto leopold, seeing into the future where leopold would tell gilgamesh his and the servant's name, gilgamesh would sent a horrid smile, a sign of patience, his staff still ready to fire though have decreased as his posture would relax further
You should control him better... I am a changed man from my past self, but I can't ignore much more insolence
His gaze would then be fixed onto the man, if a gaze could have daggers these glares are shooting daggers at anderson with a smile as he waits for leopold's answer
....
Hmph... you mean yourself?
He would float further being 10ft of the ground, as he ready a spell, Ice bolt twinned spelledAs a little bit of time passes, the thumping grows stronger and stronger, without a doubt from the north side of things.
Also for her perception check earlier, Melt could see that there was a mountain in the distance with something flying around it. Most definitely their goal! It was maybe like another 2 hours WALK out.
Either way, enjoy the nice pleasant forest scenery. No blizzard, no near blindness, no giants trying to sq- wait fuck scratch that...
Well... Umm, they aren't frost giants but. Johnny Sins and his side piece umm... Mia Khalifa? I dunno how you spell that... Anyways, JS and MK and umm... Their side bitch Super Sonico? Point being, 1 big hill giant and his two side bitches!!!
*Smiling happily*
Well one giant got stepped on, at least it was kinda hot to him as he got stepped on and died...
*Keeps smiling*
As Meltryllis utilizes her abilities to absorb the giants and releasing the energy into the surrounding area something did happen… There’s good news and bad news… Good news! At least good for Melt? The birb/wyvern looking things from the mountain earlier, well they’re zooming on over and will be there in the next few minutes… Bad news! There’s more thumping… Also quite a ways away… Again from the north… I guess a beacon strat attracts a lot of things huh…. no matter y’all got this!!!
Indeed! Never felt so refereshed before maybe your service is quite useful indeed!
You could hear the king chuckling at andersen, and his sensitive 'encouragement' really was quite a kick to the king, enough that he would be able to kick around such giants
My name is Gilgamesh, King of Uruk, and your name you unsensible mongrel?
Still staying quite away from him, his hands crossed, he would ask him 'kindly'In particular the thumping up north is noticeably closer than the wyverns flying in!!!
It was maybe 1-2 minutes later that an adult black dragon burst out from the treeline and towards the group!!! Strangely enough though, it was beaten and battered, its wings were so bent out of shape it was unable to flap its wings let alone fly!!! It's also a bit pissed off...
(edited)On closer inspection it was indeed not a true dragon, rather something like a greater wyvern. It's appearance was like a dragon, but its two front "legs" were horribly stubby almost like a tadpole growing out its limbs. The way it was beat up too was strange, clearly something hit it in its wings to be bent in such ways, and there were gashes from large weapons on it... It didn't respond instead only screeching in pain as it attacked the group!
Just a note, that this thing is larger than the wyverns, but it isn't as large as a true dragon would be.
(edited)The wyvern/dragon mix cried out, clearly in a lot of pain. It paused for a moment upon hearing Meltryllis' words but inevitably charged forward. The Sakura 5 member could clearly tell that it was to far mentally gone to listen as of the moment.
Okaaaaaay!~
As Dom investigates each of the corpses, they were all mostly in a bit of a mess. Though Meltryllis was able to get quite a few of the useful bits and pieces from the wyverns. Whilst he did find various samples of wyvern in each of the wyverns and dragonoid, it was all only of the others here. None of the wyverns had any samples related to the nest of the group? On another note, despite it not being the main thing investigated. To Dom the dragonoid seemed suspiciously like the wyverns as well as the true ancestor dragon hybrids.
Yeah, Dom... You didn't exactly get jack shit... The corpse is a bit ruined and you just got a messy chunk of fleshy stuff. Fleshy chunky shit has some scales on it, but it's not really the best sample if you know what I mean. He got a lump of arm(?) but it's a really bad cut... Someone needs to teach him how to cut.
(edited)Leopold managed to hack off a few of the giants fingers, who knows why he'd need giant fingers... It's not like he's gonna use them for lewd acts right? Anyways, they're in pretty good condition, nothing divine but like pretty good!
As for Dom, as he investigates the bodies of the giants it was quite strange. The leader had a necklace of fangs, specifically similar to the wyvern and dragonoid's fangs. There were also a number of other random trinkets from human skulls to half a goat's leg stuck in its ass crack? Save the necklace of fangs, there were a few scars from what seemed to be claws and teeth littering the body...
As Dom scries utilizing the necklace he sees a variety of things, the main thing being of a fight between quite a few of the local hill giants and more dragonoids of varying deformities. There was one though that seemed more like a true dragon than the rest, almost radiating power... There were a dozen or more wyverns working alongside the dragonoids... Though the image cuts short as large teeth surround the scrying object, and Dom is treated to the inside of a dragonoid's mouth.
With the bright light and the feeling of levitating, the Master would be thrown into the Singularity and the Servant would follow them as a spiritron entity.
As you all open your eyes, you will be greeted with the the sight of heavy fog. You can barely sees anything in front of you, but at the very least you didn't fall from great heights. If you try to look a bit harder, you could see some trees nearby.
Other than the heavy fog, you could hear the sound of rustling of the trees. It's either the winds, or something else. You aren't sure.
(edited)The sound of wind continue ahead as you all converse.
Lancelot could somehow feel nostalgic. The whole area feels like when is merely a child, trained by his guardian.
As the group move forward, the sound of giggling would continue. It seems like it came from any direction, but before you all start getting confused, the sound of the giggle is changed into the sound of humming. It's stay to one direction, as if guiding you all.
Lancelot could feels that the spirit in the area is noticing him, and feels that know where he is going, would guide him1
◉◉◉〇Gil wouldn't sense anything magical from the fog. Just as Touko said, anything that Fae made is natural, and so is this fog
After a walking for a while, the sound of humming would start to dissipate. Before it's fully gone however, the sight of a small monument added with a faraway light piercing the fog could be seen, indicating that with a few more step, they would be able to reach the village.
As they step forward, the fogs would dissipate in the area they are standing on. In formt of them, they would see the village itself. Rustic, made out of woods but at the very least, sturdy. Rows of small houses litter the area, but at least there is some sort of organized where they are build.
A sound of surprised scream came from Infront of then, a kid with a what it's seem a bamboo in their hand. They look surprised at you coming out if the wall of fogs and let out unknown sound, seems to be a traditional language.
Tiny! Tiny! Please wake up, Tiny!

◉◉〇〇The house interior is mostly filled with wooden furniture, that seems minimalist.
As you wait, you would see a woman looking over two fairy that seems to be fighting with each other as they pull each other cheeks
"Yes, you can trust me to keep master safe. I always put her safety first."
Both of the tiny fairy would stop when Martha start asking question. They blink at the same time before the one who is pinching the other cheeks would start to speak.
Unlike the other houses that has some proof that people's live there, it doesn't seems that no one is living inside the houses, with no lighting at all could be seen. Other than that, they look like your normal houses.

Other than Lancelot, he could see some male are walking around in a group. Seems like a patrol.
Most of the defense seems to be merely a fence based on your visual.
"Fair point Saber" Cu answered him telepathically
"Why not? If we wanted to end you guys, weapons would have been drawn at this point" Cu responded to the Fae"Yes, they all seem to have their secrets. But these people are our only source of information at the moment. I was thinking of having you or Kama follow Candra in secret, but I believe now is not the time."
Touko followed behind Entik."You know what to do!"
she said telepathically, giving Kama a wink."Keep master safe while I'm gone!"
She spoke mentally to Lancelot before she disappeared from their sight like a true assassin should. Sneaky sneak time."Why wouldn't I agree? Even if this is a singularity, if there are people who require help, then we shall do what we can to help them."
"We will do what we can to help," she said to Entik. "But for now, I'm sure you and I both need rest." (edited)
All of you would be awake. Your inner alarm would indicate that it is time for you to start your day. That, or your servant woken you up when they notice Entik is coming to knock on your door.
Entik would then guide you to the dining room, where Candra could be seen putting the last plate into the table.
The dining room itself is pretty big, and the table seems to be big enough to hold all of you. Chairs has been put neatly, and you could see some fish dishes and vegetable is mostly on the table with white rice.
Another day was spent as the group goes to help Candra with the villagers. With their help, Candra could take off more of the symptoms than when she did it alone. Because of that, the villagers would know of the group and be grateful for them. It also help that Candra vouch for their help.
Now in the morning, the group is free to do what they wanted to do. From trying to help more villagers, or continue their mission.
”I believe we should. It is vital to obtain any information we can get.”
Saber, you should know your way with the lady a bit more. Pushing someone with something they didn't want to won't do anything. Caster I believe you can get her with your words

〇"You seem to be happy, finally getting the conclusion you needed Master?" He said telepathically to Martha
Enjoy playing charades, Lancer. Tell me when we're ready to go.
Your group would walk ahead to the direction of the beach. The smell of the sea and the sound of waves could be heard clearly when you arrived at the row of empty houses.
In one of the house that face the dock, you could see a tanned male with dark skin with a few bottle made of clay beside him. All of them are still unopened, and it seems the man didn't notice you coming yet.
Days has gone after you sail away. The sunlight can barely enter with how heavy the clouds, follow by the sound of thunder and waves crashing onto the hull of the ship. A storm is coming, and then undercurrent continue to tumble underside.
As your group talk, winds start to pick up harder and thunder now going crazy on their head.
It wasn't long until the howling wind came, now followed by heavy rains.
The sound of heavy storm continue until a heavy turbulance disturb you from where you stand.
From the sides of the ship, you could see waves start to takes form, crashing into the ship and it's continue to become a lot more pronounce until you can see a red gills and sharp teeth formed on the waves.
My order is to remove anything that try to enter without permission. Leave, or I'll consider you an invader!
My order is to remove anything that try to enter without permission. Leave, or I'll consider you an invader!
The is no answer coming from the dragon, and but the waves are not rocking the ship too hard. In a seconds the dragon disappear into the ocean. Now the sound of the raging ocean and storm fill the area.
As the group await. The rains on the deck start to pour down the deck. It would waver, moving into a shape. First it make into a pool, a puddle before it start to go up. A humanoid form made out of water, until it took form of a female. Colors start to show, a green clothings, a familiar face, but with eyes that hold no emotions. Divinity pours from it.
The group of Chaldeans invited to join the daily project of 'culling' the massive Dead Forest that is constantly growing are now gathered just right in front of it, standing between them was nothing but a bounded field that entraps all that is within it and keeps out all that is out of it.
The one that led them there was none other than Shayne Percia, a member of Chelon Canticle Brigade under the commands of Lusiana. They are accompanied by a Lancer Class Spartan-Like Servant and a Berserker whose mind was not... Berserk?
"We're here. Before we start, do you have any questions?"
"Are you really sure about... that..."
He'd say with a worried look on his face before he shakes his head.
"Well if you say so. But we'll be dealing with a mile of the forest with the intent of clearing it all up. Which means it will be a heavily drawn out battle. Make sure to ready your preparations now. There might be some Berserkers here and then too."
"No... Please. Seriously. I- un. Sure whatever. I don't know what you are talk- ugh. Tsk...*
He'd sigh and shake his head, he grabbed the collar of his shirt and took a deep breath, and exhaled once more. Uncomfortable and awkward, fidling around and scratching his head. But after that single sigh, he stopped and took out his Mystic Code. And he spoke,
"Fine. Don't ask anymore questions then. Just don't die and get in the way."
(edited)The Chelon Canticle Brigade member continued to expand their movements, slowly spreading as the Chaldeans and the Servants slowly took care of branches, and roots.
Shayne looked at the Chaldeans behind him and asked Ushiwakamaru and Nagato.
"Faring well?"
He'd ask this stoicly.
Meanwhile, the two Heroic Spirits summoned by the Brigade, particularly the Berserker, continued to slam away its weapons and broke the forest anywhere it goes.
The same could be said with the Lancer, but his job was primarily to protect the female casting Magus's.
"Please do not stray far too much, mistresses!"
He'd say.
"We've cleared the first area. Onto the next."
He'd command as he moved forward, and his Servant followed. Lancer waited for the female Masters to move on.
" You should save your resources."
Lancer suggested to them.
"Not the resources I am talking about, young king!"
As the group continued forward, all Heroic Spirits would sense the upcoming danger. And so did the Chelon Canticle Brigade Member.
"They're here. Shadow Servants born from Enniash's will. Get ready."
He'd say, as both the Lancer and Berserker readued themselves on the upcoming combat. The trees also began closing in on them!
"Rider."
Shayne would call out to Ushiwakamaru, as the both of them began warding its attack. With his 'magic' weapon, he'd strike the Shadow Berserker with eaze and speed parallel to that of a mid-tier Heroic Spirit. With Ushiwakamaru's skills, he'd adjust himself in order for them to pincer the Berserker, almost unabling them to move at all.
"Master of Chaldea."
He'd call out to Nagato to strike the monster down.
The Dark-Skinned Berserker began to scream, but he wasn't mad. It was almost his body tightened and strengthened, and began brandishing his skill and ferocity against the forest. His destructive force completely obliterated one of the oncoming branches.
The Shadow Berserker that had arrived into the fray was then quickly stunned by the Magecraft of the Half-Fae, surprised by the usage of Mystery within the Magical Dominion of the Forest itself.
The Lancer went to intercept the free enemy, defending the Masters that it could reach as he noticed the other one was binded with the Fae's Magecraft.
"Well done. Magus of Chaldea, I'll leave thinning down the forest to you as your sword is well made for such monstrosities defences. I will assist Lancer."
He'd say to Nagato, leaving the Area clearing to him for the moment, as he began moving to Lancers side to attack Servant 3.
Lancer laughed at the hearty attitude of Asteria, while Darius continued pushing forward to destroy the Forest. Shayne completely sighed at this, and simply followed along, as they continue to lead Chaldea into the 5th Area to be cleared.
The 5th Area caused Shayne to stop. It was far different from the previous areas, unusually that is. You are half a mile away from your original location, and half a mile away from the destined location and through out your journeys, there has been no change of appearance in what the place looks like. But this time its different. Almost as if someone else has been in the area, they forest seems eerily alerted even before they arrived, and roses could be found in the area despite of the 'bloodsucking' forest devoiding the entire landmass of life.
"What is the meaning of this?" Shayne asks. "Do you have any ideas?"
He asks the Chaldeans.
As Nagato looked around, and used his light towards the roses, he'd notice a small glimmer and his instincts would say not to touch the flowers. It wasn't an instance of fear, but simply it was just as if it was dangerous to do so. His body says to him. And as he does he'd hear some movements by the trees of the forest, around them, although he does not know where it comes from. The Darkness of the Forest continues to shroud them all.
"Neither does mine. Although I can see ahead farther than most in the darkness." Shayne would reply as he looks around. Soon enough, he'd stop his gaze in front of them, by one of the branches. "You are..."
As if looking at someone, he'd brandish his sword towards the target of his stare. As if it was his enemy.
As you all stare into the abyssal darkness, the crimson moon light would shine above your sentence, and would reveal the appearance of a petite 'vampire'. Her eyes red, and her hair bright pink. With a mischevious smile on her face, her fangs could be seen as she grinned.
"Hmn~? You brought some more Magus and Heroic Spirits? You all just keep bringing all the fun to me~"
She'd say like a child giggling, as she sat down by the branch as if it was its friend, but from the reaction of the forest, it seems they were not.
Shayne would sigh.
"I know her. She's the Dead Apostle running around the borders of the Bounded Field, causing troubles and insignificant delays in clearing out the forest."
Both Heroic spirits, Lancer and Berserker would prepare themselves in battle.
"Are-reh? Deal with me? Fufufu, I'd rather not die from something like you. Oh~, although, you do quite smell delicious. As delicious as Fae's whose blood sucked dry. I should start with you."
She'd say as she'd stand from the branch.
"My name?~ My, my, you're such a cutie. Perhaps you'd like to be my husband? Asking for my name so easily, fufu. In any case, I'd like to taste some 'actual' blood once in a while. I'll tell you the rest when your mine."
Lancer would quickly take position next to Asteria as if in order to protect her. Berserker would begin to rush towards her, and Shayne does so as well.
"Do you have Anti-Vampire weaponry Chaldeans?"
Shayne asks.
"I won't let you!"
Meanwhile the vampire snapped her fingers, and the flowers began to scream wildly causing the forest to began moving. Attacking indiscriminately.
"Ahahaha, well, I'm used to getting killed anyways. Oh, but your Ghostliners are sooo scarryyy. I'll let the forest go and eat them for me."
She'd chuckle.
"Aww that's too bad. But that's okay too."
She'd say as her and the forest began to move. Although they weren't friends at all.
(edited)Enjoying herself as soon as Nagato reaches her side, she began unleashing a barrage of vines to strike Nagato. Licking her lips, she'd then take a solid bite onto his neck, as if to mark him as one of her targets. Unfortunately, she was unable to strike him down, due to his surprising constitution. Despite that, she'd laugh as began walking onto the tree nearby, walking down vertically with no hardships.
But as soon as she did, she'd notice the Heroic Spirit rushing towards her. As she prepared to live, she'd notice somethinh.
"Wha-! A Ghostliner with a Black Key?! How unfair is tha-"
But even before she could finish her words, Ushiwakamaru's clones appeared beside her, carrying the same copies of the Black Keys. Her face would scrunch at this surprise, but she could not say or do anything, as she was struck down and killed, falling down onto the ground, 10 feet beneath Nagato.
(edited)"Excellent job, Rider. Let's deal with this area quickly."
Shayne would say, as he'd order the two other servants to strike the forest immediately.
"We don't need to stay here for much longer. Especially at that state."
He states looking at Nagato, whose been bitten by the vampire.
"After all, you will need treatment. If you die at that state, you will no doubt turn into one of them."
"Do you know how to hande the Curse of the Dead Apostles?"
He'd ask curiously.
"Then don't try it if you don't have experience."
He'd say.
"And as far as I am concerned, that was far from a Superior Dead Apostle."
The forest began hungrily feasting on the 'death' within its grasp, hunrgily reaching out towards the body of the Dead Apostle which has not turned to dust, curiously. Resulting in this, those within 30 feet began to feel the forests hungrer as it slashed against everywhere and pierced those who couldn't dodge.
And as it did, piercing through the forests, hunger, 10 feet beneath from Nagato and 30 feet away from the frontliners and Asteria, rose up again, groaning angrily, as she took off the forests grasp from her.
"Grrrrr-! It wasn't the real deal, but its still limited my healing quite a lot. Who even uses Black Keys nowadays!? I'll kill you! Well not now. Hahaha. I'm not an idiot! And you Mages are now collabarating with the otherside?! You bunch of sussies!"
She'd point at Shayne with a mocking gaze.
"Hope you get eaten by the forest!"
She was complaining like a child a lot.
"We're killing her off." Shayne says as he sighs and prepared his weapon once more.
"Now that you guys brought in Church Weapons, that's extra hard for me to use this as a playground. South is no good, I can't run away to Germany, the Demonic Sword Avenger is there.... AHHHH the big guys are moving around Enniash and now I'm gonna die to Heroic Spirits with Black Keys! Why can't you guys just let me kill freely?!"
She pouted as she crossed her arms growling.
"Doesn't matter! I'm leaving! If you want to give me cookies, then die and become my follower or something! Goodbye!"
She says as she turns around and started leaving... almost casually.
(edited)"Nm. Yes. Let's finish with the forest, and we'll have the Song of Judith take care of the curse she inscribed to you. Just don't die."
He'd say.
Nagato and Ba'al, would soon reach the clearing. The clearing 'surrounded' a small restaurant that was a good place to rest. As they entered it, even the Berserkers and Ghouls that had been chasing them strayed away from the area, fearfully. The area was not under the Forest's influence.
Both Ba'al and Nagato investigates the area, with Nagato, in his search for any kind of answers, would find himself inside the restaurant. The restaurant was quite small, and homey, as if it was simply ran by a single family. Although said family could no longer be seen within. It was quite a rustic place, with a reception which is connected to the kitchen. There were 10 Tables at most and 4 chairs each, some lined up by the walls. Furnitures, pictures of said family, as well as pots with no plants on it gave this establishment a lonely feeling, as if it had be stolen the life that it had once. The product of Enniash itself.
In the counter just in front of the kitchen, Nagato would notice an incense that seems to make him feel pukey due to his nature as an Oni, despite being half blood. It seems to be the defensive barrier that prevents the moving enemies of Enniash away. But it didn't seem enough to keep the growing forest from approaching, hence it seemed to come from somewhere else.
Ba'al remained outside, as she found no interest inside, instead, she found herself staring at the branches of the forest that surrounded the home. After a small investigation around the restaurant, she'd find herself surprised as the branches, seemed to have been killed, and were unable to grow further due to its death. A curious phenomena.
You've began to move. Through Ba'als connection, she'd guide Nagato. As soon as they exited outside of the safe zone, they'd hear cries from all around them, alerting the duo of the existing enemies in the area, and the fact that your return to the wild has not go unnoticed. Nevertheless you've began moving forward, with your speed, attempting to outrun the enemies that had took notice of you.
Soon enough, the path you are taking would take you both to a nearby battlefield. There you'd hear sparkling embers, flashing all round. Fire, that should've been unable to touch the forest itself, could be heard all around. It was as if something was combusting. Here, you guys would also hear the sounds of a Berserker, getting burned by such flames. You cannot see unless you decide to check it out. Or ignore it.
Choosing to ignore it, as you leave the area, you'd hear a girlish scream. Moving on forward, it seems you are still hefty away from the location of Naomi and the others. The forests has taken an effect to you.
"Your call, Master. How shall we go about this? Do we accept his offer? I know it is easier said than done, but please keep a cool head."
Rul- no Amakusa, take him up on his offer, he'll be filled with holes by the time were done with him. There isn't a good place for me to hide here so I can't fight like normal. Please if you can heal Ciel once we've gotten her to safety, I'll keep my head, it's foolish to go into a battle blinded by rage.
"We have a few moments before it starts to rain. And something tells me rain will not be advantageous to us."
Ruler Carry her, I'm not physical strong enough to carry her and keep up.
Emiya, Jeanne, and Fie arrived at the meeting point, where they'd be met with a blonde male in his late teens, waving at the group. It matches the description Miyu had given, as well as the Chaldea information about him. His name was Flat Escardos, a student of El-Melloi the II. With him, a girl almost the same age as him, wearing a gray hood that covers up her face and hair.
They met up on a nearby warehouse, near the port of Calais. The pair had yet to notice the three, as they seemed to be chatting.
Fie was listening in to their conversations a bit, and the blonde male was saying, where the girl could only nod her head... . "And the dragon went boom! After that, I woke up. But I decided to sleep again, then I had another drea-, oh. They're here."
Soon enough the group, with Gray would use a sewer line to move along. Through various twists and turns, and a small breaking of walls, Gray led the group, insisting that there was no need for stealth but for speed when traversing to the location. There was no problem, and without a moments notice, all of them arrive.
The entire area has been shrouded by the silent craft, no sound emanated from any of their movements, surroundings, and voice. This will prevent the noise of destroying the wall.
She breaks the one in the middle and revealed the area from within. All that's left is to enter.
As Emiya moved to the left, he'd notice a some traps within the road to it. Luckily, it seems they were all disabled.
As Fie moves in to the door, there doesn't seem to be anyone within. No sounds, no noice either.
Fie enters the door stealtily revealing another pathway...
As Fie opens the door, different from when she had opened it before, there was a man in a kimono standing in the middle. He had two swords by his waist, one was clearly shorter. He had a pony-tail and a beard on his face, one that isn't so hairy. But was quite clear. He'd then clearly notice them, as the pathway was clear, and simply stared at them...
He'd simply stare at them for a short moment, before taking out his sword and slashing the floor to create a line then moving back. He'd then speak with a smile and a rough tone. In Japanese but his words were clearly translated by the Chaldean Earpiece.
"If you go past this line, you will die. You will not find what you are looking for past this point."
He'd say.
"If you leave, I will ignore you."
Fie began to check the other rooms. They were the same. There was nothing within the rooms but the individuals. Soon, she'd find herself looking at the spot where Gray was looking at with teary eyes. There, on the table on this side, was the sabe tube. But with two eye balls, ears, and a tongue, all on separate containers and two thumbs... And inside the white room, was someone familiar even to someone like Fie. After all, he is pretty famous. A long haired man, missing an eye, his ears, and two of his thumbs. Lord El Melloi The II.
On the otherside, Fie would be able to see a vampire. A vampire that is alive, but has her white room constantly raining, with the vampire completely drained of energy and just laid slumped on the floor as if unable to die, nor live... On her table, was a tongue that seemed to have curse not to dissipitate into pure dust.
As Fie walked towards the last two rooms. On left side room, was one that was had lost all their limbs and was displayed on the same tube as the other ones. They seemed familiar, but it looked like they were a member of something strong.... Meanwhile on the right side, there was a blonde magus reading a book with his legs crossed, missing an eye and an ear which was properly displayed.
(edited)As the two move to this side, they seemed to notice fresh trash of someone nearby, but they could not find anyone...
The woman who had her eyes closed, slowly open them. But she did not respond with words and simply sat down by the wall without saying anything. It seems she has no trust to whoever who was speaking.
She'd shake her head with a sigh. "Whoever you are, you better not ask me. This isn't my expertise."
The blonde man looked at Fie, letting go of his book. Almost as if he could see through the glass, his gem-like blue eyes stared for a moment, before he went back to his book.
"Just break the containers and the collected ones. They trick perception, for both sides, and the world, and as long as they're in one piece, the trick wont disappear."
He'd answer simply, but is also uninterested.
Also stoicly.
"Hmn? Isn't obvious. If you want a door opened, just break the container, and the body part in front of them. Don't break mine though. I still need that Mystic Eye."
He states.
"In any case, just break them all apart."
The eye was broken, with the eye. The door opened, and the whiteness of the room disappeared, revealing it as a normal concrete room without in it.
Orphelia is asleep inside
The door opened the same way.
As they began to attempt to speak to one another, after letting out their acquired target, suddenly from behind Fie, she'd get stabbed multiple times. From behind her, a mist appeared. In the mist, a silhoutte of a child appeared. The same mist covered the entire area...Heavily Obscuring it...
A laugh would be heared.
"Hehehe, more eyes collection for mommy!"
Not knowing the existence of the two servants....
The Assassin killed another Assassin, without their true formed being revealed time stopped for a moment, but not for the Red Man. With that, the Servant vanished without a trace, not even a word...
And as such, the entire port went into alert...
As everyone acquainted themselves with their surroundings. they bird sounds from close by behind some of the trees
as the fighting continues the group hears like Footsteps in the distance
As they finished off the last ghoul a fireball came from a pale looking woman with a fierce look in her eyes. Damaging a master and they're serving they were then quickly destroyed then finished off with a black key. This was all before she can even say a word as she was no more

"Umm Greatings I am Nagato's Servant, Edgar, it is a pleasure to meet you all."Seeing the Number of people holding sharp objects I shall act as back-up for you master.
Master, who is this Rude child?
"Alright then." (edited) Miyamoto would see in the trees ahead... A large serpent slithering trough. It's eyes locked with the group for just a moment before moving on.
Do you want me to accompany you Master just incase? I’m afraid I’m not that trusting of strangers
I don't mind if you tag along poe, and that's fine to not be trusting of strangers. Blinding putting your trust in someone you just meet is foolish after all.
I wonder how far over 100% concentration that stuff must be
Poe thought to himself as he continued to watch being too crippled by social anxiety and lack of social skills to attempt to speak upStay on guard, don't make any moves unless she makes one and try to Keep Shiki and Ibaki safe.

The Demon God Pillar's started moving, as if booting up.
Wriggling, adjusting it's positioning.
Before finally coming to a Halt.

You know I don't mean to interrupt a heartfelt moment but...
You could just get rayshifted back. We should be able to stabilize your Spirit Core if you get back fast enough.
Don't fear striking down the civilians if necessary. They are the ones that submitted to the cult, meaning they are more than likely brainwashed already.
I'll deal with that. You pursue the one Fiana saw.
You sure? I can take care of the situation from where I stand.
Either of us can, but you move faster. Your choice though.
Understood.
With that, he ran outside.
