The address seemed to be almost the same as the one in the Chaldean Base(Yellow), and it brings the forward deep into where the civilians have been evacuated. Officer/Detective Barnes would find themselves met by a checkpoint of NATO units. Suspicious, they stopped the duo.
"Halt. Bring out your identifications."
"Hmn. Some trouble up north." The soldier responded as he took a look at 'Benards' ID, nodding his head. "And for you too." He'd say to Koyanskaya.
"I'd still need her ID, sir."
He'd respond.
He'd look at Koyanskaya a bit suspiciously, resulting in him looking at his friends, who'd shrug in response. He'd extend back Benards ID to him. "Alright. You may get in, Mr. Benard Nicolas. And your assistant."
He'd then let them pass.
"Boss,"
she immediately changes gears in their mental link, "I suddenly had a feeling of something amiss. Stay close to me, no matter what."
As they began to leave the area, the NATO soldier who asked them for their ID took out the communication device strapped on his vest, and began speaking to it.
Noted.
"Command Center to Unit-Forge. That's alright. This will be done by us personally. At ease and remain at your post. Over."
"That's what they said. We have to lose them in case they follow."
Oliver would disguise glancing over his shoulder by brushing some dirt off to see if they were being followed.
@Ma|Resur|Anastasia|King| C @Sky_ | [NPC] | Sal [9] Walp [14]The soldiers remained at their post, glancing once in a while to the duo, but never acted to anything else.
"I'll take care of it, if push comes to shove. But for now, let's move away from here as fast as we can. Where are we headed now?"
"This adress."
He'd read the adress to see how far away they were. They were getting close, but not that close for comfort. They will need to keep moving.
"What methods do you have for discrete observation?"
he asked his servant."I have a device for exactly that. Nevertheless, now that we passed inspection, why not get to that address directly?"
"I have a device for exactly that. Nevertheless, now that we passed inspection, why not get to that address directly?"
"I'm not going to walk into a random adress without knowing what's inside."
"I say this concerning a trail we may leave. We don't have to slip inside directly, just get close."
(edited)"Good enough for me."
With that Oliver would find a corner or a building that was close enough that he could observe the adress safely.Soon enough, the duo would find themselves on the corner of a building, close enough to the address. The Address seems to be just a common house, similar to any other house in the area. There was nothing amiss from the current position Oliver and Koyanskaya are at the moment.
@TheInsanityThatLiesOutside @Sky_ | [NPC] | Sal [9] Walp [14]"Allow me, Master."
As Koyanskaya casted her Magecraft, the invisible eye appears right near to them. Just a few short order, it should reach the house.
"Tell me what you see."
He would keep an eye out in case anything else was following them.4
◉〇Upon searching around, he'd suddenly be looking at a blonde girl, literally just right behind them, staring straight at them. A normal looking girl.
"H-heya."
She waves. It seems she had reached them, without any of their notice.
"Eh?!"
She'd jump out of surprise of his movement, raising both arms up.
"No... This area is part of the civilian area.... That house over there is my grandparents..."
She'd point to the house, in which the address was pointing too.
"Ahaha... I was just approaching you casually but you guys seemed to be staring quite a bit... Do you guys have any business with my grandparents?"
She asks tilting her head as she smiled in understanding.
It doesn't seem to be lie. At the very least, she seems to be telling the truth.
As Koyanskaya moved her spell inside, as if it was being denied entry by a barrier, it couldn't enter! How unusual!
"I see. I mean, I'm sure they wouldn't mind having you inspect the houses nearby. I'm sure they'll be happy for guests in this eternal night."
She says as began walking to the house.
"I'm sure it's... an important job for you guys too."
Anything inside?
@Ma|Resur|Anastasia|King| C @Sky_ | [NPC] | Sal [9] Walp [14]"A barrier blocks the entrance to it. Perhaps we are forced to gain entry in some other way. The front door, perhaps. Not a good sign.
And the exits?
There was an entrance, the front door, like a normal house. But the eye cannot wnter due to its magical existence. It seemwd only physical thinga can go in...
"They re well and resting."
She says.
"Are you coming or not?"
(edited)"Let's follow her. Something tells me this is the lead we're looking for."
"I suppose we are now.""I'll be wary... Even so, my infiltration abilities are stronger than you'd think."
The girl lead them into the gate, and into the house, although Koyanskaya had slight interfered with the bounded field, she was still able to enter, resulting the girl to glance a bit.
She'd open the door, and bring them in.
"Come on in. Go sit on the couch, I'll go check for my parents."
She says with a reassuring smile on her face.
As the both of them slowly sat on the couch, the girl went upstairs, as if searching of something. You are both left alone inside the sala room.
It seems that it wasn't.
"Do you have a plan now, Master? I believe it's prudent to wait, but a contingency might not hurt."
Soon enough, they'd hear someone walking down the steps.
But when they look at her, it wasn't the girl who had taken you here. Her hair was more straighter, and much more brighter. Her eyes exceeds blue, one similar to a Jewel. A Jewel called Mystic Eyes.
There was a sweet smile on her face, as she carressed the side of the staircase, and she spoke.
"No need to leave so fast, Mr Benard. And his Servant."
And yet her tone and voice remained the same as the girl from earlier, except much, much more calmer.
"It's easier when each party aren't quite hostile. It is I should be the one to thanks." She says as she gently pressed one of her earings as she began to spoke. "Command Center to Unit-Forge. Do not worry about the two arrivals. They've been taken care of. Stay alert in your position. Over."
She states this, with clear non-hostile tension towards the both of you.
"Let me introduce myself."
The girl, began to walk down the stairs so she may stand in the same floor as the two Chaldeans. Raising both sides of her skirt with clear nobility and grace, she bowed.
"My name is Felicia Sylvian. A Mage Family of Killers and Political Control. As when we've surfaced, it was during the Cold War, when Sweden used their defensive powers to remain neutral to all other nations, we've used our Magecraft to assess the information, without taking an act of it. It is a pleasure to meet a Pliskins."
You have anything to help tell the truth?
He didn't give anything away on his facial expressions and instead disguised the small delay as him thinking for a moment. The girl watched Oliver leave and at that moment, he'd find himself looking for good observation points with Koyanskaya. He'd see one on a nearby lamp post. Other than that, there was a nearby building that could see this house clearly from a higher vantage.
Follow closely and go dark.
Oliver said as he walked into one of the alleyways and used a spell on himself. His body morphed and shaped, first being a blob of flesh before reasserting itself as a plain uniform NATO soldier. He had picked a number of a soldier that would be legitimate from what he recalled from the database when he assumed his first identity, but wouldn't be at this checkpoint but not be so far that it would arouse suspicion.
He would walk to a nearby checkpoint as if he was merely on patrol or had left for the loo, casually looking around for any survliance equipment that might include the house.Oliver began to walk towards the checkpoint, but as he'd walk the streets to the said location, he'd be meeting with an individual. In a small distance on the opposite side of the road, walking towards the house which Oliver had recently visted, was a girl inscribed in red. Her dress was a dashing, elegant, and powerful red dress, which Oliver would know due to his families nature, as the Red Roses Mystic Code. A Mystic Code crafted by a Magus from Rome for the sake of the Clocktowers Queen, filled with an essence of a divine spirit of flower. And this girl. Who was passing by you... was wearing it with not pride, but as something simple uniform... You do not know who she is though, and you have yet to pass by each other.
The girl will stop, as Oliver passed through her, and she'd ask. "Who are you?"
"From this direction?"
She'd ask, coldly and stoicly. Gesturing to where Oliver had just come from.
(edited)"Well it matters not to me, even if you used an unusual route. What I can say is this. Leave this area at once. And never return."
She'd say, as she then took out a Mystic Code in a shape of a gun, as she began to head over to where Felicia Sylvian was.
It seems she was slighly supsicious of you nevertheless.
Concerning.
He made sure to turn a corner or two before he stopped and took in his surroundings.
Assassin follow her at a distance. If she does what I suspect she'll do with that mystic code, your orders are to protect Sylvian at all costs.
Koyanskaya watched the entire thing. The woman's Mystic Code turned into a sword and cut the entire magical barrier that they saw by the house, obilterating it completely. The woman then entered the house. Then there was no commotion in particular.
