"You guys are noisy." Coming out from her tent, was the blue haired woman, enforcer/magus Forte carrying her sword by her hip. Her clothes that had tears all over the place seemed to have healed already, returning it to its proper shape.
"We can go now. Back to the city. Unless you want to dive into the forest once more?
She'd ask the heroic spirits.
She'd naturally ignore his question as she simply stretched her arms, softly letting out a feminine sound before she sighed and patted her legs as if taking out the dust out of it.
"And where does that interest lie?"
She'd ask, engaging him nevertheless.
"I am not following."
She'd respond as she continued to stretch, gently reaching out her arms to her feet while her legs remained straightened.
"Pleasure, huh? Not really. My job is the one thing I've done in my entire life. It's as simple as how my blood flows."
"I don't understand how skillful you are in wasting your breath in such unnecessary manner."
Forte crossed her arms, flipping her hair off her shoulder as she continued. Her tone maintained a cool and calm tone, and yet she was truly perturbed at the unusual way of speaking of the Archer.
"And if that truly is the case, then I should've perished back then. Skills are skills Archer. If you let such "enjoyment" affect your performance, then you are letting many other factors affect it as well. Such as the lack of it. The most important in this line of job is being consistently at your best, whether you enjoy it or not. What matters are the results after all."
She'd say this with a casual smile, although this was not a return to Francis's own smile, but a smirk from her own words.
(edited)"That's the point Archer. You rely on excitement and passion to operate at your best, but I do not. If I find something exciting, then I operate as I always do. And if I do not find such excitement, I operate in my best anyways. You flower your words with passion and exhilaration, but when there is a lack of it, where do you find yourself? Looking for it."
She answered, as she found herself a simple rock and crossed her legs elegantly, and was amused with continuing her words towards the Archer class.
"At that point, you believe yourself always operating your best, but in truth, you will not be, due to your mindset. Despite all the proclamations of ones mental resistance, in the end, there is no such thing as perfect. You will fall out of your best. But do not worry, I am not telling you to change your mindset. You are as free as the wind to work as you wish, as you said that you find enjoying your work as you work it as necessary. I am simply stating the fact that it is not. It is not whether you enjoy your work, it is whether you will do it anyways."
Satisfied, she reached out for her pocket to reveal a pocket watch, which she would smile on.
"She would be returning soon. We will have to move."
"Here you are and your romantic words, Archer. Words that seemed complicated but aren't really, but I don't really care. To be honest you don't have to follow me, I forgot something in the city after all. Tell Bazett I head back earlier."
She says as she began moving forward.
