For the moment, the woman would find herself looking over her equipment. Waiting to see if her master decided on staying or not.

Hippolytus was sitting down, contemplating.

She was staying seeing as Veronica was offered to be taught magecraft which meant she was most likely staying.

Veronique is in fact staying, is what she had decided. She's got some things she has to answer for..

In the meantime, Orphelia would be seen holding a bloody still beating human heart, chanting in latin as she essentially tried to incoporate her witchcraft into the lessons that Seraphina granted her. It was most likely disgusting to most of the party, but who said Magecraft was ever pretty?

"So how is everyone doing today? Right now, my daughter Celestia is cleaning up the mansion using her dolls and some of the golems. Everything was in a bit of a mess but you are free to stay here as long as you wish. Lessons will also be starting in about ten hours. So make sure to get some rest before then."

My daughter though, well she has stolen from even Atlas, hence why she is so good at multitasking." She would then turn her attention towards Vee. "I hope your ready to get lessons from a real teacher. As talented as Orphelia is, her abilities as a magus teacher are a bit lack luster, no offense dear."

"Excellent Thieves huh? I am impressed you got the guts to admit that teacher. Most people would brag about how their magecraft is practically their own. That or, make a cheap copy of a spell from the Lords of the Clock Tower." She then took out a cigarette brand called Dragon Smokes. Afterwards she would place one on her mouth. "Non-taken. If it were not for Ladt Galashiels here and Lord El Melloi II I would have been stuck in the basics. Father refused to teach me after Rachel was born."

"Very well, give me a bit. I will also invite my daughter, it would be a shame to have tea without her. She is soon to become the family head." With that, Seraphina would stand up and excuse herself, going to find Celestia.

"..I... felt like it was better if you didn't remember. You've used a lot of valuable resources to keep me alive and.." Ah.. the guilt returns. She should have told Orphelia. She doesn't remember why she didn't.

I would have traded a lot more if it means keeping you alive." She answered as she blew the smoke away from the direction of the party. Using a bit of magecraft to make sure it didn't reach their noses.

Hippolytus watched his aunt and her mentor reconciling with a gentle, serene smile, before turning to the nurse next to him. A horrified expression came over him as he realised how unintentionally rude he had been. He cleared his throat a little, trying to regain his stoicism. "I um... Do not believe I have probably introduced myself. I am Hippolytus of Athens. Might I know your name?" @Andle | Cam, Ib, Rach

The berserker merely paused for just a moment before leaning in without a word, she gently tugged on the side of his head- taking a look at the bandages she put on earlier before speaking up. "Bandages are holding up well. Patient is in good condition. My name is Florence Nightingale, I am aware of your name as one of my patients. What is it that you require?"

Hippolytus rather passively allowed the nurse to do her work again. Seeing her in action, and his pre-existing respect for healers, prevented him from having any issue with it. Though he did seem mildly uncomfortable being touched in general. "Ah, nothing in particular, I apologise if I've interrupted. I simply wanted to introduce myself, it's polite to do so, and to... Thank you. I know jobs like yours can be thankless sometimes, and... I know for sure without your assistance in that battle I and likely a few of the others would have perished."

The woman didn't linger, instead she turned towards her bag. Digging trough it for a few long moments before taking out a small bottle of disinfectant and planting it in Hippolytuses hand. With a single glance towards him she turned away once again, taking out a few of her scalpels and other instruments and beginning to clean them. "I do not do this for praise nor does it truly matter. Truthfully silence is my preffered reward. The silent sounds of a steady breathing as my patients soundly fall asleep." Nightingale remarked. Her eyes fixated upon the scalpel in her hand for a few short moments before she continued. "Take a rest." With that she motioned towards to a nearby chair. It seems like she already cleaned it.

Hippolytus nodded, silently and gratefully. He understood that fondness for silence and made his way over to the chair she'd set up, cleaning his hands with the disinfectant he'd been given. He knew what it was, at least, the grail had told him that. So he sat in silence, deciding to take a rest as recommended by his doctor. It had been a good deal of time since he had come across someone whom he could truly call a kindred spirit like this, someone so dedicated to their craft. It was a pleasant surprise and change of pace.

The Berserker didn't make another comment for a little while, cleaning her tools of the trade and quietly making notes on the recent happenings. Looking into her bag, she pulled out a small brown bag and placed a nondescript packet of pills into it, marking it with a simple 'Take two a day' and the name at the top being none other than their companion from earlier-- Orphelia. Finally after a little while, the woman packed up. Taking a look towards Hippolytus and speaking. "I have concluded my duties. What did you wish to talk about if anything? Though a doctors duty never ends, I do have time to entertain chatter."

”Oh.” He grimaced a little bit, his usual social anxiety beginning to take over. He didn’t see this coming, not was he prepared. He hadn’t realised that this was what she meant by him having a rest on that chair. “S-Sorry, I’m… No good at chatter. I truly did just want to thank you. And if your preferred reward is silence, I was… Going to try to respect that.”
